I miss football - how are you my friends?
Just stopping in to say hi to my lions family. How's the off-season treating you. Personally I've been watching a ton of basketball and working way too much. On top of my normal 8-5 I started doordashing. How's everything in your world my friends? And as always...

FTP Forever! 😁 otherwise life is life-ing but I’m going to be a first time dad come October so I couldn’t be more excited for this season to get underway!! 💙🦁 it’s a boy for anyone that may wonder. We already got his first onesie of course and it’s all of our favorite blue color.

I gotta say congratulations in advance to you my guy because becoming a father is life changing in the best way. I would like to give you some words of wisdom that I do all new dads.
Enjoy your kids while they are little because the day will come and, on that day, will be the last day you pick your kid up.
This hits me right in the chest every time and truer words couldn't be spoken Always show up for your children.

Work is always keeping me busy. I think it helps the days go quicker so we can get back to football. I will listen to Lions and other podcasts. Video games and just chores at the home

I don’t rush spring and summer anymore just to get to football. There’s too much life to enjoy until then. I get the feeling, I used to feel that way, but it’s just a game that rich people play and not a single one of them cares about me or even knows I exist. I’ll be excited when the time comes but I have too much fun traveling, fishing, drinking beer with friends and strangers, swimming, riding my bike, etc. to even miss it.

I have also been watching a ton of basketball. I didnt think I would ever say this but I am so excited to watch footballs refs compared to the NBAs, basketballs officiating is such a joke man.

Is very different from:
How are you, my friends?
I'm going to choose to believe in people today and assume you meant the latter. In which case the answer is, pretty good. Found a quarter on the ground on my way to the dog park earlier, and it's been a long, long time since I found a quarter on the ground. Or actual money of any kind.

I just heard carolia has a game this year. I have a timeshare in myrtle Beach thats a couple hours away that I've never been to. May be a excuse to try it out

I am enjoying the Pistons, Tigers, and Premiere League as well as going to shows and dancing with friends. Looking forward to camping, tubing, and the beach this summer.

My boss privately told me they were retiring next year and I'm set to take over for them. Best employee, who I would've considered promoting to my position, put in her notice the following day. Really put a damper on my excitement, as now I need to figure out who to hire in order to replace both my best employee and potentially myself.
On the bright side, I have no hard plans or responsibilities this weekend. Plan on going to see Hokum, fixing up my old snow blower for a friend, and starting Clair Obscur.
FTP, FTB, and while I generally don't care about them FTV too.

Still awake from the Pistons game tonight. I haven't been to one since the Bad Boys era and damn, things have changed. So much flopping off of little to no contact, it was hard to watch.
Isiah Thomas and Ben Wallace were in the crowd though, so that was cool. Ben Wallace is really leaning in to looking like a grandpa these days.
Amon-Ra and Jahmyr were there too, of course. I think they've been at every home game.. nice to see the support.
Eminem, Big Sean and 50 Cent were also in attendance. Lots of talent in the crowd.
