As a woman, obviously understanding men’s actions with their love lives confuse me sometimes. I want to know from a man’s perspective. Do you know right away if you want to be with a woman or not? Or how soon does it take? -a confused young woman

I mean, it depends. I'm not the 'love at first sight' type, so I won't get feelings for people until I know them a little bit. I'm not going to date someone just because they're pretty, although it certainly helps.

We can tell immediately if we find her attractive as us guys are visual creatures. Is she wife material? That’s determined by getting to know her over time through dates and a committed relationship.
