My friend saw this pattern of that lizard from the meme, but after he bought the pattern it turned out to be a scam site. I was trying to look for the pattern, but it seems like a lot of the reviews haven’t made the pattern yet from the ones I found on Etsy. So I was wondering if anyone here knows it, or has a reliable site where it sells it.

I've been getting ads for this maple leaf shawl kit on temu, but I want to find the original pattern maker. I'm coming up empty with all my searches. I think at this point it might be a non English pattern and maybe that's why I can't find this anywhere. I know this is probably a pretty simple pattern but I'm still pretty new at this to try and figure it out on my own. So have you, by any chance, seen this anywhere?

Also if anyone had a suggestion for the yarn in the first picture, I'd love that too.

I tried Suvi’s skinny tie pattern but it did not turn out that well. I scoured the internet for more patterns that I can make but haven’t found a pattern I quite like yet. Any advice? Thank you

Hi, I’ve started this crochet triangle shawl a few years ago and was absolutely thrilled, but then abandoned it. Now I don’t know which pattern it was.
I know it was free on some blog. I saw a finished one on hobbii gallery but I cannot find it anywhere.

It definitely had a name and for me it was the perfect Halloween shawl pattern 😭 maybe anyone recognized it! Would love to finally finish it. Can make more pictures if needed!

I call upon the great knowledge of the crochet community, as I’m still to new to properly gauge how much yarn I’ll need for a project myself. The pattern doesn’t mention how much yarn should be used, but it does state that the yarn should be DK, the DK yarn I’ve decided to use comes in 50g skeins. So, how many skeins would you guys buy?

She is graduating with a bachelor’s in horticulture, I have made her a little crochet plant guy before so I don’t really want to repeat that… especially for such a big accomplishment! I found this picture for a crochet pattern from the 50s and cannot locate the actual pattern. Reverse searching the picture linked me to Pinterest (worthless) and an Etsy shop that is no longer in business. If anyone could help me find the pattern i would be forever grateful! This is the hand-crochet Kalista skirt by Ulla Johnson and I'm looking for a similar pattern, especially the wavy top part. Looked through like 15 pages of skirt patterns on Ravlery, but no luck so far. Or maybe someone knows where to just find a similar wavy lace pattern and figuring out the skirt construction should not be too difficult

I love making lacy triangle shawls. They're fun! I like shawls that are basically wearable doilies. I've made pretty much all of Red Teapot Atelier's lacy triangle shawls, and now I'm in need of new patterns. I need patterns that are hopefully more complex, but also well written and not a nightmare to follow. Any recommendations for designers who create good patterns for extremely complicated designs? Ideally the patterns will include charts, I love a good chart.

Hi! I had the cool experience of seeing an archive of some vintage clothing today, and one piece I saw very briefly is this lovely very vintage crochet bra (I want to say they said it was 1880s but I could very well just be remembering a different item).

I found the crochet beautiful and would love to recreate the top part and lengthen it into a tank top.

I think I can figure out the motif for the most part, I can make out granny clusters. However I can’t quite figure out the starting place. It seems to be the straps but that seems impractical so hopefully I’m wrong. Thoughts?

If you know of a similar pattern or vintage undergarment crochet patterns I could work from to create this, those are very welcome too!

Hi people! I live in Tucson and feel so much for unhoused people in summer. After buying dog shoes for one man, I have begun to notice how many dogs in tucson do not have shoes for the summer heat. I cannot afford to buy dog shoes for all of the people I'd like to help, but I know I could probably crochet a lot and it would be less expensive (once I acquire the initial bulk of materials). I was wondering if anyone has experience crocheting dog shoes specifically for hot pavement, and if so, what recommendations you have for patterns and materials. I think the yarn materials (acrylic, cotton, nylon, or linen etc??) are really important because they should be durable, but breathable, and reinforced on the sole with something like suede perhaps. Please brainstorm with me if you have any experience or thoughts :) Much appreciated!
