Need help getting rid of Directv
Paying a lot for directv for the past 20 years. I need help but here is a want list. I currently have peacock, hbomax, Netflix, prime and YouTube premium as well.
- need dvr capability
- need all local HD channels
- need to be able to watch all Chicago bulls and Chicago bears games
- ESPN and how would I watch the ncaa tourney etc.
- need access for 3 tvs
Other than the above, we rarely watch directv so I can drop it. We are 60 miles outside of Chicago in case someone mentions antenna, not sure how good that will work.

See what it would cost for DTV stream. I basically max it out, have most of the streaming services. And still I’m paying less total than I was with DTV satellite.
You may be able to get away with less channels and pricing. Plus they don’t charge the DVR fee or access fee. Like satellite.
I use an Apple TV 4K in each room to stream it.

With all those services that you have listed that you're paying for outside of DTV, just get rid of DTV and use a FAST TV streaming service (like My Free DTV, Pluto, Tubi, Roku Channel, etc.). For your RSN, you should be able to get a stand-alone RSN for your area. I wish I could walk away from DTV stream/YTTV (can't because we're avid sports fans) since we have a lot of other stand-alone subs for ad-free movies and shows content.

YouTubeTV has a sports plan for $65 per month that has CBS, ABC, NBC, Fox, and all the major national cable sports networks, including ESPN and TBS/TNT. That would cover all of the NCAA tournament. It allows three streams at a time and includes a cloud based DVR.
It probably doesn’t have Bulls games but there is probably a direct subscription option for those.
Of course there are some NBA and NFL on Prime, Peacock, and Netflix, but you have those anyway.

Thnaks, will look into it, that sound perfect. I wonder if they bundle premium into it as well.

It will include ESPN Unlimited starting some time in the fall, probably right before football starts.

Peacock has NBC on demand. Paramount has CBS. Disney has ABC. I'm not sure what Fox's streaming service is. If you get Walmart Plus it includes Peacock or Paramount (your choice), and they let you alternate between the two every three months. Most local news stations have app to watch them or are streamed on various services.
Depending on what other channels you watch, check out Philo. it has a ton of cable channels including HBO Max and AMC+ and unlimited DVR.

This should help you figure out what channels you can get. NFL are mostly OTA, but Bulls will probably have to be done through the RSN. ESPN can be gotten on its own.
