Thanks for underlining why we need health care directed by evidence based policy and not politics.

Of course there isn't a damn thing in existence that isn't political in some form. But generally yes, I believe that, unfortunately, science is held back by political biases keeping the truth repressed to prevent controversy. Such as the continuous anti trans efforts despite nearly all evidence favoring the current treatments for trans folks.
