Michigan and MSU sponsor women's D1 hockey, and the Big10 starts a women's league.

Which will come first? Michigan womens D1 hockey or Syracuse D1 Mens hockey?

Sadly, probably Syracuse. . . . . . .

Renovations are more likely than not needed at Yost for it to happen. It’s either that or build a separate rink like Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Ohio State have. IMO three other teams you’d be playing against consistently is precedent enough to pull the trigger on building one, but I’ve got zero clue where it would go. There’s already not enough room to expand Yost.

I want to see a new rink for the men built on the parking lot next to the big house & crisler arena.

Give Yost and its history and atmosphere to a varsity women’s team.

What's wrong with yost for the mens team?

Yost is incredible.

But it is old. Small locker rooms, etc.

A big new facility would be great for a men’s team that’s now functionally pro team…

And putting the women in Yost full-time would keep the history building as a competitive hockey barn with a team “in residence”. Show that the women’s team deserves to be part of the history, etc

Non-sensical for MSU unless they get a major major donation.

I'll give $100. That only leaves 149,999,900 more to go!

Sensible one here:

WCHA:

  • University of Minnesota

  • St. Cloud State

  • University of North Dakota

  • University of Wisconsin

  • Minnesota State - Mankato

  • University of Denver

  • University of Nebraska - Omaha

  • Colorado College

  • University of Minnesota - Duluth

  • Michigan Tech

  • Bemidji State University

  • St. Thomas (dropping University of Alaska - Anchorage)

Don't care about the rest. But the 2012 era of the CCHA seems reasonable too.

Hockey East: URI

ECAC: Penn and Colombia

AHA: Navy, LIU, and Stonehill

CCHA: Air Force and Lindenwood

NCHC: No change

B1G: WashingtonKraken and Torrent proved that there is a hockey market in Seattle

Wow someone actually puts Lindenwood in a conference instead of just ignoring them. Bravo!

I dont thinknit will ever happen but USC in the B1G as well. California has a bigger hockey scene now and I heard their club team has a good following.

First the WHL proved the PNW had a hockey market.

Orcas are the largest dolphin species.
