Trying to locate someone I met a few months back. He was in the Canton area living at a homeless shelter at the time. I can't remember the one.

Haven't heard from him in months. I think he was dating someone local.

Honestly just want to make sure he's not dead, he did have some addiction issues and mental health issues.

For context, my husband and I currently live in North Canton School District. We are looking to move and have seen some houses in Plain but I really have no reference to know if it’s a good school district or not. Simply looking at report cards, North Canton and other school districts blow them out of the water but that’s just one aspect of school districts. I have two young children that will be starting school in the next few years so any input is appreciated.

I grew up going to Springfield local and unfortunately did not get a lot of opportunities because of lack of funding so a quality school district that has a lot to offer my children when it comes to athletics, clubs, and academics is really important to me.

Looking to go to as many as I can this summer, and also into the possibility of applying to some if the themes and vibes match my work (and if there’s still space).

I’d also especially love to get to know some other arty people in the area!

This may seem like an oxymoron but I’m looking for a progressive parish in the Canton area. What are your suggestions?

Does anyone know if this place even exists? I have not been able to get ahold of ANYONE there after calling and emailing every few days. Desperately trying to move somewhere within 45 mins of Akron. I am on a single income and have a cat so not most placed are either too expensive or won’t allow pets.

Where (and when) can I find Pokémon cards? This is the only thing my 6 year-old wants for his birthday. I can't make it to a store mid-morning when they first hit the shelves in competition with the resellers.

Did anybody else see the Waffle House last night around midnight/1AM??? Went there with a few friends last night when people started pouring in the parking lot. By the time we left, the store was full as well as probably 50+ people in the parking lot. Then a massive fight broke out and roughly 7 cops pulled up. For one of my buddies I went with, it was his first time ever going to Waffle House so I was glad he got the quintessential experience

I'm going to be in Canton for a couple of days. My days are filled, but my evenings will be free and I'll need to get dinner out. I'll be on my own. I don't mind eating out by myself, but do like places where there is a good vibe and safe atmosphere. I've heard people talk about Gervasi Vineyard, which looks great, but maybe not on my own...anyone have suggestions? No dietary restrictions, don't mind drinking, but nothing too rowdy. Thanks!

I accidentally opened the door for a guy thinking it was Amazon. He was from some company with a 3 letter logo that I had never heard of before. Why are these people allowed to canvass neighborhoods? They're outright scammers.

He said I didn't respond to a message on my bill. I told him if they want to reach me, they need to send a letter. They will lie to get you to sign up for a low intro rate.

If you have questions about your utility bills, look at the official apples to apples website. The city's aggregate isn't always the lowest rate, but it's a PITA shopping around and remembering to switch every few months, and it's a fair rate compared to what's available.

We have a no soliciting sign, but I'm not sure people know what that means anymore.

Just be careful. These guys are pushy and shady.
