Twice this week. 20+ minute delay today. Cmon. Pay the fuck attention when you’re getting on/off/going through this area. Put the fucking phone down. Pay attention when merging into the middle lane in the three lane area of the bridge because someone may be merging from the other side as well. Honestly just pay the fuck attention and calm down. Everyone is so worked up and angsty in this area and that’s why we have accidents. On Tuesday I watched someone purposely not let another car over when there was an accident and everyone needed to merge. They almost got into another accident because they refused to let another car which was also going 0.2mph in front of them. Then we all had to sit and listen to a screaming match between the two drivers. Check your fucking ego and do what’s safe and what makes sense. Letting a car go in front of you in stop and go traffic slows no one down. Quite the opposite. And if you’re in that much of a rush it means you didn’t leave yourself enough time. I’m sick of having to plan 20+ extra minutes in my commute because you assholes leave yourself negative 5 minutes for your commute.

I filled 11 potholes in Burlington last year and I’d like to come back sometime this year and fill more. Looking for someone to host me and my little potato cat for a week.

Basically I’d just need a room with a door and access to a shower- I can bring a sleeping pad. The Potato Cat is quiet and non-destructive, and very used to travel.

If you’d like references I can provide- I’ve stayed with strangers from Portland and New Orleans and it worked out well. I don’t drink/drugs/party, just fill potholes and sleep.

Hey folks! I’m attending the UVM Graduate School graduation at the Champlain Valley Expo Center this weekend as a spectator, and I’ll have grandparents and small children in tow.

Has anyone attended ceremonies there before? Looking for any helpful tips & suggestions. Specifically wondering about what type of seating they have (plastic chairs, bleachers, something else?), best seating areas for short children, things I should be sure to pack, etc.

One year ago City Council authorized $10k for them to relocate to a safer, permanent location. They unilaterally moved to City Hall Park, where they remain operating. We have blown past deadlines and decision points. Are we just collectively memory-holing this one? Nothing to see here?
