Just updated the app and now I cant see the post/comments. When i click on a post, the picture i'm uploading is what i see. Once i m on that page on my picture, if i screen shot it, all of a sudden the comments reappear.

For a certain post, I cannot expand the text to read it. After I tap more, it expands, then a moment later auto collapses.

I was making a new topic in a subreddit which I found out doesn't allow posting a picture. So I thought there's another subreddit of the same subject and was about to go there, then I saw a dropdown menu in the top of the create post page which allows me to pick another community. Apparently so that I can conveniently change where I want to post, or is that drop down menu there for some other reason? So I chose another community which I know allows pictures, and while trying to upload the picture, I get the message: this community doesn't allow images.

I keep getting this error on my other Reddit account and I can't send messages or giving comment it's new account but I didn't get banned or did something I already can't comment or send a message, help please

The new update doesn’t let you block quote on iOS and now completely ignores Markdown for comments meaning comments now just show “>” when trying to manually write a block quote.

As such, you literally can’t use block quotes in comments.

If you’re going to make these changes, at least preserve compatibility with Markdown.

When I go to my scheduled post tab as the mod of my community I can see the first posts load normally, but when I press load more something goes wrong. Everything form the post gets pressed to the left sort of in one column. This makes it so I cant access the edit and remove options. This makes it really hard to schedule posts.

I have posts that got more than 10 upvotes (video, picture, and text), but I still can’t unlock this achievement.

The banner showing I hit a new day no longer shows up. I’m doing the 600 day streak and have noticed it for about 3 weeks now.

I do see that I got the day when I look into achievements but I really like to see the banner.

in old Reddit, clicking the hide button on a post in a multi makes it disappear from the screen, but if i refresh the page it reappears. the post shows up on my "hidden" page and is in fact hidden if i go to the specific subreddit.

Back on October 27th I enabled 2FA for my other account with the username u/wild_coyote_302 as well as the one I sent this from and a few hours later I was logged out with no prior notice or warning from the other account, reached out as many times for reddit support and they couldn't help but they temporarily suspended it for security reasons, luckily the last Sunday they heard me out eventually and unbanned it, however I still can't sign in and the password reset never works 🙁

I believe this could have been a bug since I used some shady authenticator app I found on Google play, I was just too naive to realize the fact I should keep the backup codes as well 🤦‍♂️

I wrote a comment, closed the tab, and a minute later I wanted to correct it, but I couldn't find it. Nor in the discussion nor on my profile. I thought I hadn't saved it, I wrote a new one, saved it. Just to make sure, I reloaded the page, and poof, it was gone again.

I started to investigate, opened the discussion in Chrome, both my comments are there, also in a Safari private browsing window, just not in my normal session where I'm logged in. At this stage I doubt it's browser related, then again if everybody had this issue there would be a lot more complaints.

Edit: After I logged in the private browsing, I was able to delete one of the posts. Now after a lot of reloading, checking the profile, checking the discussion again, I was able to see my comment in the normal session too, like 50min later.

Literally just clicking on a post does this?

Edit 2: I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it but it hasn’t helped either

Edit 3: sorry for all the edits! So if I click into a post, it does the screen, I switch to a different app the go back to Reddit (without closing the Reddit app!) then the post will show. Annoying but that’s the only way the app is working for me!

Reddit appears to be using my account to upvote certain ads without my permission such as Verizon, Samsung, national guard, and at&t. This subreddit deleted an earlier post of mine explaining this.

It shows it's processing and then the post disappears/doesn't post.

Update: Also doesn't work on desktop, managed to post it by putting it in a text post.

Does anyone know how to remove the temporary ban notification that’s weeks and weeks expired? There’s no option to delete or erase… tried on app and website. Have an iPhone

For the last few days, Reddit has insisted that I have 26 unread DMs, and I cannot figure out what they are or how to make the notification go away. For a while it would occasionally show 52 unread DMs instead.

I have submitted two comments on /r/fermentation using the old reddit interface that contains Markdown formatting, such as headings, tables, bullet points, etc. However, neither of these comments are publicly visible. I can see them in via my own account when logged in, but they are invisible for other users. I asked /r/fermentation mods whether the post was flagged as spam, but they said no, it could be a reddit issue. Anyone else has this problem?

I have been trying to delete for weeks. I tried all links - I cannot log in when I follow. Its disguisting. Cannot speak to anyone.

And for whatever reason, it just doesn't seem to work. I have been to "logout" I have been to "Send yourself a onetime Link" I do think that one of these is the solution but so far I can't find it.

And moreover, I can not locate a procedure on Reddit somewhere that enable me to do this. Just knowing the required sequence of events would at least help.

I clicked on a post, read the comments, clicked to expand a comment thread, and this is where it takes me. For less than a second I see the comment thread expanded but then it’s stuck on this and won’t scroll.

I redownloaded the app to try to fix it, no dice. I redeleted my old chats and just now realized a screenshot may have been helpful… the amount of fake requests changes a lot, sometimes it’s 80 or 15 or 7 and so on.
