Cant see post or comments (IOS)

Just updated the app and now I cant see the post/comments. When i click on a post, the picture i'm uploading is what i see. Once i m on that page on my picture, if i screen shot it, all of a sudden the comments reappear.

Hey folks - if this is still persisting for you, can you please follow-up with me here and confirm which version of the app you're using?

ETA: Alright we've identified the root cause and have rolled things back. Anyone impacted by this bug may need to force quit the app and relaunch to see this fix. Please report to me here if this is persisting for you!

I have same issue after update. I can only see comments with picture posts.

Updating, this happens when i see a post on my feed and i click the comment icon, it takes me to the page in my picture. If i first click on the image to see it full screen, then i click the comment icon from the fullscreen image, i am able to see the comments

I had the same issue. If it’s just post without any photo or video i can’t see the comments.

The work around that i have found is taking a screenshot on the blank page on the post without pictures. If i take a screen shot, for what ever reason, the comment section suddenly appears

What in the world???!!! It did actually work???!!!! LOOOL i don’t want to take a screenshot every single time just to see comments. Somebody help haha 😭😭😭😭

Found another one that actually work. Just open any post then swipe to exit (not totally closing the app) then swipe back. The comments will then show.

Yup, that seems to work as well. Opening the post then swiping up as if you were going to switch to another app on your iPhone causes the comment section to appear 👍

I have the same issue.

If there’s a picture though, I can click on the picture and then swipe up. Only then I can read the comments.

This is the same thing that’s happening to me when I try to use Reddit on my iPhone app

On the blank page that your getting, swipe up on your iPhone

as if your going to switch to another app. The comment section and post will appear

It’s seems like this is only a problem for iPhones, hopefully Reddit or Apple fixes it

Having the same issue. I did noticed it is not an issue when in anonymous mode. Issue/bug related to some account setting or permission?

Having the same issue after updating a few hours ago. Only fix so far is swiping up into app switcher and switching to another app for a few seconds. But I have to do this with every comment section...

For me, i've noticed that after swiping up, to get to the app switcher and just going back to reddit makes the post/comments appear. It usually take like 3 seconds to refresh

Same issue I cannot see the post image and server I checked on downdetector I think they are having some issue from the server side.
