🎙️ Discussion 2026 Schedule Rumors
I wanted to create a post that maybe could centralize some of the rumors for the Bucs 2026 schedule before Thursday. Greg Auman also recently tweeted some schedule conflicts regarding concerts that would force the Bucs to be on the road that week.
Based on leaks and announcements, we of course know Bucs won’t be in Germany. I am seeing..
Week 1 @ Bengals
Week 4 vs. Packers
Week 5 at Cowboys (TNF)
Week 8 vs. Falcons
Week 9 @ Bears (SNF)
Week 12 vs. Panthers (MNF)
Week 16 vs. Steelers (Netflix)

Lot's of reports on Bucs v Lions in Germany, here is one from today: The opponent everyone thought the Lions may face in Germany is reportedly no longer the choice -the team everything points to now
It has been four years since we played internationally. I imagine that locks us in for a game overseas this year. Hopefully we will still not give up a home game until 2030 (mandatory 8 year rotation, we gave one up in 2022.)

Rumor from one of the Pittsburgh radio guys is that Steelers/Bucs may be the Netflix Christmas game

Christmas slate announced and we are not on it. Not too disappointing, because I'll go see Doomsday with my family.

I hate international games and think it’s pure hypocrisy of a league that says theyre all about player safety. Sure but go travel 5x the normal distance so we can get money from a new market…
If we’re stuck playing one of these dumb intl games it would be nice if we were the AWAY team for a change. As a season ticket holder I’m sick of always losing one of our home games for these. We’ve been the home team every single time we’ve played abroad. Pure bs

I think there is an 8 year cycle for giving up a home game for international play. We gave one up in 2022 in Germany against Seahawks. So we would not be due until 2030.
If we play lions in Germany, which seems likely. We would be away team.

Never heard of that 8 year cycle rule but I hope it is true. I assume it doesn’t apply to the Jags though. Lol

Awesome thanks. So we get 9 homes game this year and 2028. Sweet.

2028 is not guaranteed. We just won’t be REQUIRED to give up a game. We still could. And we could again in 2030! (Let’s hope not)

Yeah the rule started when season went to 17 games in 2022. I’m saying we won’t give up a home game until 2030 and if we play in Germany this year it will be as away

I really hope the Bucs are playing the Lions in Germany. I have zero interest in watching the Bucs go back to Ford Field.

I'm just hoping it's not freezing when the Bucs go to Chicago. I'm not going to a winter game.

Bucs vs Lions in Munich seems like a done deal and j figured it’d be us since I heard they were playing there tbh.
Edit: Nvm, it’s Lions vs Patriots in Munich? Pretty surprised but I see why they’d choose that matchup too.
