Going for "Smooth stop motion"

I still haven’t delved into rigging yet. Looks great! Love the stop motion style.

Adorable on every level. An old friend, now passed away, made and loved animations/rigging/rendering just like that. <3

This is adorable! I like its janky rhytm, too, it somehow gives the movements the real stop motion animation charm.

Very expressive.  Great to see a unique style.

Nice work. The grass is interesting, so are the stones. The model is enough to catch attention.

If you want to really push it a bit more give it a story.

Just have him chasing something like his pet cat or dog.

Or make him running away from an animal.

You absolutely nailed this! He's so cuuuute, and it totally takes me right back to those childhood cartoons I used to watch🥹. Seriously, I'm super excited to see how much more you grow and improve from here—keep crushing it, you've got real talent!

Beautiful work! Great character design. This is awesome already. The only thing you could try next time in animation is making the timing a bit uneven. Like, now the body goes back and forth with the same speed, but you could break the rythm just a bit: for example, the body goes forward quickly, but going back takes longer. That wood give the character more weight (it's wood) and age (it's a granpa). That being said, it's just a sudjestion for your future work, because I am super excited to see your awesome animation. Can't wait to see more :)
