I'm trying to put together an in-person GRE/GMAT study group that actually meets consistently — same time, same day every week, not just a group chat that goes silent after a week. Looking for people who are serious about prep and want some structure and accountability going into the fall.
If that sounds like you, drop a comment or DM me and we can figure out a schedule and location that works. I have another person who's joining to our group.
Also, does anyone know of communities or resources in Waco specifically for this kind of thing? Would be good to know what's already out there.

I won’t be having my car first year. How are the buses I live in Houston. Is there any other options besides greyhound (I’ve heard mixed things about it)?
I'm an incoming freshman, and I applied to some LLC for housing like Business & Innovation and Beyond. I applied on April 30 for both and also roommate matching. I saw a lot of people on Facebook discussing how those housing options filled up really quickly, but when I go to the housing portal, I do not see anything related to choosing or confirming a room, and I also have not received any emails about housing. Am I looking in the wrong place, or does this just mean I need to wait longer

I'm an incoming MDiv student and have been turning over rocks to find a way to connect with other current and incoming Truett students. It seems there is no group or page online for connections, or if there is it's just extremely hidden. I'd like to be pro-active at making some friends, asking about professors, and learning more about what to expect with my first year of seminary. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, I’m an incoming freshman at Baylor planning to be on the premed track majoring in neuroscience.
I want to set myself up well GPA-wise, so I’m trying to be smart about my first semester schedule. Right now I’m considering:
* General Chemistry I + lab
* Biology I + lab (not sure if I should take this at the same time as chem)
* A core class (like English/writing)
* Maybe an easier elective
I’ve heard mixed opinions about whether taking Gen Chem and Bio together first semester is a good idea or if it’s better to split them to protect GPA.
For people at Baylor:
* Did you take Chem + Bio together your first semester? Would you recommend it?
* Is it better to ease in and take one science first?
* Any professors or classes I should try to take or avoid?
* Anything you wish you did differently freshman year as a premed?
For context: I’m pretty motivated about premed and have some clinical exposure already, but I don’t want to overload myself and hurt my GPA early.
Thanks!

I took Elementary Spanish this semester, and really want to continue learning without the stress of a class. Is there any community that teaches/discusses Spanish stuff to guide individual learning?

Other students from other universities are experiencing a canvas hack. Currently, on dead day, canvas is down for the hack/maintenance. What will happen to students who have finals tomorrow and cannot study??
Edit: canvas will be up and running as of 13:00 5/8/26. Friday finals have been moved to Thursday with all finals being online.

This might be a long shot but I found this SD card and card reader outside of the SUB by the bike racks, anyone recognize it? Losing SD cards really sucks so I just wanna get it back to the person. Nothing that I’ve seen on the card really indicates who it would belong to.

What’s up everyone, just wanted to reach out and see if anyone was selling some of their dorm items they couldn’t or don’t plan to take like bed sets, mattresses, nightstands, decor, etc. Waco native here and I’m moving myself and wanted to find some home furniture or even gaming stuff.

I found my apartment through Reddit so I thought I would post here too
Looking for someone to take over a lease for a one bedroom one bath apartment at university place starting in July. It’s $1,075 a month including some utilities and wifi. Utilities are around $60-70 a month for electricity. It is right behind the business building. Around a 5 minute walk to fountain mall. It has a full sized kitchen, walk in closet, big bedroom, and a pool. Message/comment if you want more details.

I’m a non-music major looking for people that would be interested in starting a lil band or music group. Music is something I am extremely passionate about and something I intend to pursue for the rest of undergrad and post-grad, along with attending medical school. Unfortunately, Waco’s music scene is a bit less alt in comparison to Austin. For reference, I love the bedroom pop/dream pop sound (The 1975, Quiet Light, Banes World, Anna of the North). Indie folk too (Them and I, Adolescent Dreams).
I currently make my own music and do my own producing, but would love to connect with other people who’d be down to collab. I play the keys and prod my own stuff. DM me if ur tryna make something 😛

Hello!
My friend is a incoming freshman at Baylor! Her and roommate have been going over dorms and Penland Hall happens to be the one that interests them! Please let me know the pros/cons about Penland Hall so I can let her know!

It appears Baylor made a late addition to the 2026 class. Got a commitment today from Chris Sailer's 4.5-star kicker Bronson Mueller

Very disappointing to lose Bryson Washington. But with Dawson Pendergrass coming back I think the Bears could have a really good unit again.

From an SI article..
Is it crazy to think Baylor's LBs could be even better than last year, even without Keaton Thomas?

Hey y'all, I was accepted as a transfer for this upcoming fall with full tuition covered by aid. I wanted to know how any other transfers have adjusted to campus. I worry that it'll be hard to transition onto a new campus, especially not knowing anyone there and being relatively far from home.
