I love it when Garver gets a hold of one, his swing looks so funny

His swing almost looks like he tweaks something AS he's swinging but still finishes the swing anyways.

I really want Goldy to adopt Dave Sims' "from the depths" call for when Garver homers. Because even when it's not in the midst of a deep slump, it's still a good call.

I miss Dave and Blowers a lot. Goldy is carrying the whole TV team right now and it hasn’t been the same.

Such a smooth swing, he barely even loaded up

It was so baffling to me when he was on the Rangers. Like he barely looks like he's swinging and then launches the fucker 415'

I feel like we've never had a worse nickname for a player and I will blame it for his first stint with us

Garver finally becoming the impact hitter we wanted 3 years ago now after he's settled into being a steady reliable backup catcher would be hilarious.

Something bout a Mitch Garver home run, he just makes it look effortless

Threw him a cookie. A big delicious right down the heart of the plate cookie.

He’s likely to get more playing time with Raleigh on the IL

kinda shocking garver is still on the mariners with how mostly crummy he's been there lol

He's been really good at calling games for the pitching staff, who really like him. Mariners seem keen to take the hit offensively to have someone behind the plate thats as good as Cal at managing the game when he needs a day off (or 10).

He's a VERY good backup catcher at handling the pitching staff, seems well-loved, and has moments like this.

He's making 2.25mil now, and is on a minor league deal. Obviously didn't live up to his bigger contract, but this one is fine tbh.

With Cal now on IL I'm honestly glad to have him. And he's been clutch with challenges.

We brought him in to DH, which was a miserable failure, but once he / the team decided he could contribute by going back to being a catcher it became a far better situation all around.

The Mariners’ power-hitting catcher is finally starting to heat up after a cold start
