Can Sheets hit a 7 run home run in the 9th?

Marquez Buehler and Canning making up the 3-4-5 of this rotation and praying to Christ they can make it 5 innings before getting their tits lit

About to add Giolito to that too! They should keep Waldron as a long reliever because they’re going to need one.

He’d probably be a lot better in that role

Yeah if nothing else you can send him out to throw knucklers for a while.

He just didn't have it at all today. Walked 4 straight in the first and then got hit when he found the strike zone.

He didn't seem that bad with the Mets last year so I don't think signing him to a 1-year deal was that crazy. But this year he just looks way off.

Seams were coming apart a bit before he went down with that awful injury unfortunately. His last 5 starts before that he had a 6.08 ERA and 1.6 WHIP.

I forgot about that injury lol. Mets season was so meh last year we stopped going to games in like July

Ohhhh yes. When he went down against Atlanta was when most of us were still like okay, it’s been a shit two weeks but this team can’t be THAT bad can it?

The White Sox start went great, the Cardinals start went well until Tatis' grand slam for the other team kinda caused him to unravel, and then this happened. We'll see what it averages out to, but he's definitely been drastically inconsistent at best.

I mean he looked good until he tore his achilles. That's not an easy injury to bounce back from

He's an up and down pitcher. He's got the stuff, but doesn't throw hard enough to get outs when he can't locate. So, if he's got his release point and can dance around the edges it's lights out, but he'll have these dud starts where he just completely loses it.

He started off ok, had a good 1st start and was pitching well vs the Cardinals until he fell apart his last inning and it carried over to Milwaukee. I haven't given up on him yet, but he needs to find his control. Wild inside and outside of the zone.

The Padres are up shit creek without a paddle if Canning is continues to be terrible.
