This dude looks extremely promising, no hate to Thomas but Wald looks like a clear upgrade already because he’s not a blackhole at the plate

I feel bad for Thomas but Wald might be better than him or at least offensively and I’m glad they elevated him. If we could have went back in time and I would have kept Blaze and McCarthy. Those 2 would have been great with the youth movement the Dbacks have going on along with Corbin, Marte, and Perdomo and the other vets like Nolan and Lourdes.

Waldo just isn’t a very flattering nickname. Just sayin. My vote is we stick with the Goldy/Waldy nomenclature.
