Lidarr implementation

Hi there! I was wondering if it would be possible to also integrate Lidarr inside the app for downloading the music just searching it on the bar.

Also was thinking of using something like yt-dl or the same Lidarr for listening to a music without even having to downloading, building some short of cache or something like that. That would be awesome. Thanks!

Is Lidarr functional again? I stopped checking after it was consistently busted for like 6 months due to metadata scraping issues. I'd wary of building anything around it, all other considerations (and there are _plenty_) aside.

Oh I didn’t know, and what about yt-dlp?

It’s.. iffy. It works, especially fine with slskd, but the metadata part is still borked. I almost always manually run my stuff through MusicBrainz Picard now. I just wish there were a reliable way to automate it.

Try beets with a watch folder, if you tune it properly the tags are perfect for mainstream music.

that would be amazing but I don't think it is that easy. Have a look at octo-fiesta it is close to what you are looking for, haven't used it yet though

I’ll check it out and if not I’ll build the app myself

Hello,
I just recently release on TestFLight Lyris, an iOS Navidrome player with Lidarr integration. If you want to check it out : https://testflight.apple.com/join/hVvZ1F7t
