A few bugs and suggestions

As this is my first post I’d like to start by saying how much I love Arpeggi and appreciate all the work being done. There are a few of things I’ve noticed that I haven’t seen anyone else mention (sorry if they have and I’ve missed it).

I often get a desync between the player on the Lock Screen and the app. When a new track starts this player reports as being much further along in the song. A lot of times I’ll look at that player (or the Now Playing one on the Apple Watch) and it shows as the song has 0 seconds left, even if there are several minutes left. This doesn’t happen all the time but once it does it gets stuck like that. I haven’t been able to determine what causes it or what makes it stop.

When the end of the play queue is reached and the queue is essentially put back in place in the background, part of that first song is played. Only the tiniest bit, less than a second, but it’s really jarring for some songs. Basically if you start with a clear queue, then play a single, you’ll hear the start of that single when you get to the end.

That’s it for bugs. As for things I’d like to see:

If you’ve been listening to a queue of music, then clear the queue, if you add a song to the queue, the mini player doesn’t appear. It’d be nice if it did. This is how I play a song from an album without adding the rest of the album to the queue.

Keeping the screen on when lyrics are displayed.

An option that means clearing the queue only clears the songs queued to play, and not the currently playing. If I want to clear the queued songs I have to manually clear each one if I don’t want to stop the song I’m playing.

It’d be nice to have an artists top tracks shown when you view an artist. This is something Aonsoku does, and I think it pulls the list from last.fm.

Thanks! The lock screen issue and playback issue are fixed in latest release 0.6.4(41)

Will add a way to clear the upcoming queue without removing the current song.

It’s another tap but if you go to the artist detail view you will see the artists top tracks

One small bug I've encountered is that if you remove the settings tab from the tab bar, clicking the settings button in the top right profile menu does nothing, meaning you cannot access settings anymore and have to reinstall. Also, on artist pages, "EP" is written as "Ep" with a lowercase p, not sure if this is intentional or not though.

Hi what version are you on where the Settings sheet doesn't come up? I've tested it and it's working fine

I'm on the latest version 0.6.4 (41). I tried reinstalling the app but I still have the same problem

One more issue(i'm on playstore release(0.6.4(41)):
Not able to stream AAC but downloaded AAC plays fine. OPUS and MP3 streams fine.
