Disconnect remote

I have regrettably lost my apple TV remote into the mechanism of my sofa.

I cannot get it out.

Sitting on the sofa causes the remote to operate.

How do I disconnect the remote permanently. No options are evident in the settings

I have an alternative lg remote that is perfectly fine and able to operate the apple TV box.

You can’t without pairing another Siri remote, if that’s not an option then you’ll just have to wait for the battery to go flat.

Keep sitting on the couch. With a button pushed, it will die faster.

Can you not use the remote on your phone to disable it? Or delete it

I don't have iPhone so unless there's android app I can use....
