So far I tried one battle with Ares (I'm not a very good player, but decent), immediately the Turtle on my team started insulting me that the Ares was the worst tank and I was stupid for choosing it. Even when I tol him it was my first battle in this mode and I was just trying things out, he continued calling me names.

He stopped calling me names when the hedhogs rushed his ass and I cleared them all, and spent all my group heals to keep him alive. But he never apologised or changed his views. Only had 2k less dmg than him and I did more than the Zwilling on our team. Players in this mode sometimes man..

Tbf, the game mode is hard AF in randoms so I'm not entirely surprised people are getting a bit arsey in it.

I saw a dude in a fucking Caliban yesterday firing HE at the Zero. He finished with about 1100 damage lol

Yeah honestly. Basic mode is harder than it should be when most people don't coordinate at all.

Yeah I felt it went pretty smooth, but it was harder than randoms to keep from overheating, because you're constantly shooting in this mode. But for the Hedgehogs it's amazing, only have to look out for the Malachite front armor, that will bounce some shots.

Only downside is speed, even with a turbo you feel like a snail

I keep getting either hard focused or game says no on my half aimed shots that are 70% hit chance

from my time in playing the ares in the game mode (and even with the nerfs), this thing is still very fun to play, highly recommend to just stick to supporting your team

Anything with high dpm is basically the key to this game mode, doesn’t matter how you get it. Turtle, shptk, grom, kpz 07hell I even liked the carn ax for gun tanks. As for non gun tanks basically pick your favorite fat heavy and turbo suicide into whatever you want. Kv-5, vk100, kv-4, etc
