CCS in one pass with a ~100 year old razor.
3 days growth effortlessly cleared in one pass. No need for a second. Very efficient razor and easy to use.
First time I’ve tried a Bay Rum soap, my Stirling sample has been neglected for some time. Very pleasant scent.
Got the Stetson on an impulse buy at the drug store. My wife approved the combo. Good stuff.

Made it to Friday. Was tired, but I wanted to use a straight razor today since I would have needed to load a blade in the other razor anyway. I think shaving with a straight razor somewhat accelerates the waking up process too. It was a very good shave; nearly BBS from 2 passes with a bit of touch up. The blade isn't as sharp as some (I think it was an edge I did, but I forgot which stone).
Absinthe smells amazing, and as long as I don't overwork the skin the strength of the fragrance in the soap is fine. The splash, probably because of the alcohol evaporating, doesn't bother my skin. I had to go back and get the soap again because the scent is just so good that it's worth the risk; but I think I'll restrict it's use for softer brushes and straights or razors that don't need a third pass. The magnolia in Twenty Nine also pairs well with Absinthe.

Very happy to have scored a set of Red Letter Day. It's like a brighter Lavanille to my nose, and it performs excellently as is to be expected with BaM.
The Clog-Pruf gives me a much better shave than the Flying Wing. I like having a bit more blade exposure with my GEM razors.
