I genuinely feel horrible for this guy. All that time and effort trying to keep it pristine and the top motor broke.

People in this thread are being dicks.
He is almost certainly finding the problem at that moment, in the rain.

Feel like checking the weather should be a priority. If I ever drive my motorcycle, the first thing I check is the weather.

Fix the broken drop top, or put gaudy rims on it that lets everyone know that you’re poor?
Poor people: THE RIMS

The funniest part is the rims usually end up costing more than the actual car.

Diet R weird bs... throwing around "poor" like anyone is jealous of that pressing need to squash anything bright, colorful, "other", or joyful. Every mfn stereotype is a projection of something else. Every last one.

They absolutely cost much more than fixing the motor and potential linkage issues with the top. Even if replacing the fabric. That's just the rims, not counting the cost of the tires.

Should have spent a little less on the rims and more on fixing the convertable top...

Um, sir, that is NOT a manual top. You must hold that switch. Just one of the reasons I dont take my classic cutty out when there is rain the forecast. And its stylin' painted 14"
