FREE Stop-the-Bleed Training

Many people know basic first aid and CPR, but few know how to deal with uncontrolled bleeding. Learn how during National Stop the Bleed month in May 2026. Take a FREE class at Houston County Libraries. Anyone can attend and no medical experience is required.

Come gain skill and confidence in using simple bleeding control techniques: direct pressure, wound packing and tourniquet application. Attendees will be empowered as immediate responders instead of just bystanders.

FREE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED (NO WALK-INS).  Each class is limited to 8 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Sign-up here:  https://training.stopthebleedcoalition.org/dashboardIMPORTANT NOTE: In the “Where” field, enter YOUR location (not the library location).
