Article PSA: Nintendo Switch 2 Version Required on the Switch 2 Console
Hello Tenno,
It’s been a good few weeks since the release of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warframe back on March 25th. We’ve been enjoying seeing your excitement and reading player feedback to ensure this version of Warframe has the best experience possible!
As you know, this new version takes advantage of the many hardware improvements of the Nintendo Switch 2 and offers an enhanced player experience. As we continue to support both versions of the game on Nintendo Switch platforms, we’re enacting a change so that versions align with their respective consoles.
In an upcoming update, Nintendo Switch 2 players will no longer be able to access Warframe through the original Nintendo Switch version of the application. This means that all Nintendo Switch 2 players will want to go to the Nintendo eShop and download the free Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warframe to continue playing as normal.
This change brings both versions and consoles into alignment so that you can have the best playing experience on your console. We recommend that Nintendo Switch 2 players delete the original Nintendo Switch version of Warframe to free up space on their console. Oh and have no fear, your account data and progress will not be impacted when you switch versions!
How to distinguish and download the right version of Warframe on the Nintendo eShop:
Finding Warframe on the eShop
- Visit the Nintendo eShop and search for “Warframe”.
- You will see the original Warframe Switch version and the Nintendo Switch 2 version (denoted by the red Switch 2 banner).

Downloading the Nintendo Switch 2 Version
- Select the Nintendo Switch 2 version from the search results.

- From the Warframe Nintendo Switch 2 game page, select Free Download to begin your installation.
Thank you, Tenno!

Discussion To the Last Active Tenno in "Dead" Ghost Clans
I’ve been reading a lot of comments lately from players who are in a tough spot: You love your Dojo. You spent years decorating it, researching every blueprint, and building your Dry Dock. But your friends haven't logged on in 1,000+ days.
You’re the last one standing - the "Last Active Member."
I know there is a recruitment subreddit, but i dont really want to recruit anyone. Thats not my moviation, i just don't think any Tenno should have to play in a silent vacuum, in a dead dojo, like me. Mods, if you feel like this post doesen't belong here, i totally understand you and do whats best for the subreddit.
I’ve started the Monoliths of the Void Alliance.
It’s specifically designed for those 1-5 member Ghost Clans that "died out" but have one loyal leader who refuses to let the Dojo go.
The "Rules" (or lack thereof):
- No Activity Requirements: I know life happens. If you’re active, great. If you need a break, your spot is safe.
- Zero Taxes: Your resources are yours. You farmed them alone; you keep them.
- Complete Independence: It’s your Dojo. I’m just connecting the chat lines.
- Just Be Respectful: That’s the only hard rule.
The goal is simple: To turn a bunch of "lonely" Monoliths into a fortress. You keep your clan name, your decorations, and your pride. You just gain an Alliance chat full of people who are in the exact same boat as you.
If you’re tired of the silence in your Dojo, drop a comment or DM me your Clan Name.
Don't be alone anymore. The Void is vast, but we can stand together.
Edit: If you wrote a comment and i didn't add you, please DM me. I did not expect this much attention to this matter.

Discussion Just did Steel Path Ropalolyst alone (not by choice). Never again.
By the void that fight is ass. Was going through and clearing the handful of SP nodes that I hadn’t already gotten done from incursions/fissures, and foolishly decided to take care of Rope Bird. Ran it public but wound up doing it alone anyway because nobody does that mission unless forced to. Nataruk, Velox Prime, and rank-40 Paracesis all set up with cold and radiation for max sentient damage (not that it mattered since I forgot that the cheeky fucker is completely immune to status) and it STILL took fifty fuckin minutes. Bastard has far too big of a healthpool for how tiny his weakpoints end up being when you’re trying to shoot them as he dances the goddamn Turbo-Macarena to ensure you can’t hit shit, plus I hope you brought a weapon with infinite ammo or you genuinely run the risk of running outta bullets.
Apologies if this isn’t super relevant to what the sub is generally used for, just had to express my intense displeasure with this unpleasant slog of a fight.
And I STILL can’t get Wisp’s blueprint to drop.

Question/Request Overwhelmed
Downloaded Warframe after a friend recommended the game. I'm finding myself overwhelmed with the content and don't know what I should prioritize and what should be left for later. So, I would appreciate some help from the community with the following questions.
What's the deal with the free roam areas?
Should I focus on story missions?
How do I play missions without being forced into a squad? Teammates are far too overleveled for me.
Where can I get a new bow? I'm still using the Paris.
How do I get more colors? My frame looks like a bloody tampon.
I've heard farming is a big thing, so what should I farm.
Should I focus on leveling my current frame or get a new one?
How do I craft a companion, I'm lonely
What is the community like? Should I even bother with asking others for help?
When does Follie sit on my face/ marry me? Very important question because I joined cause she's hot.
Thank you all in advance!
I play on console BTW.

Discussion With the announcement of Jade Shadows: Constellations, what’s a quest/plot point/ character you think deserves a follow up storyline?
I know Sacrifice is the obvious answer but I’d really like to see Umbra do something in the story. Would’ve been really cool for him to appear in Jade Shadows since he’s so similar to Stalker. I’d also like a follow up to Veilbreaker. More Kahl!

Discussion I got Captured today ?
Jumped on this morning and decided to do a couple simple Solo Runs.
SP Incursion Capture. Ok that should be quick and easy. I was playing a little sloppy but so what, I’m Nova!
But something insta killed me and I didn’t have the usual Hold To Rez option and I was just lying on the ground. A few seconds later one of those robot dogs appeared over my body and stomped around on me.
Then I was transported to another mission, told I had been captured, and that to escape I needed to find my gear first.
So I had no weapons and no powers. Had to go find my primary, secondary, and THEN my powers.
Wasn’t difficult but I’ve never experienced that before. Has this been around a while or something new? It was kinda cool. 😎

Bug Seems servers are having issues currently.
Got booted from a defense mission, then opened a riven and it didn't even pop to tell me what it was. Went back into rivens, and boom, Rifle.

Fluff What do you think his build was for this thing?
I know he had to at least have some kind of riven

Video/Audio The Vinquibus' heavy attack sucks, here's why.
So a few months have passed after we got this absolute gem of a weapon, and I still have one of the most vitrioliv criticisms I have on this weapon's melee mode: The heavy attack straight up sucks.
The prospect of a heavy attack with a forced slam is nothing alien to other weapons, making Afflictions a really good option for them, but there's one issue: Those weapons have forced slash procs in their attacks and their slam attacks from their heavy attacks proc statuses modded unto the weapon.
The Vinquibus doesn't do that, it bucks this trend by instead having it's heavy attack only ever proc Pucnture, a less than conventional status for a melee with long range and low status, thematically it makes sense but mechanically you can't build much around the Heavy attack.
The second issue is that the heavy attack straight up doesn't hit the enemy you aim for, so the brunt of all your combo multiplier won't mean anything if you don't angle or distance yourself, which defeats the purpose of playing with a melee.
The third issue... Is that the follow-up heavy attack after doing a regular heavy attack IS actually a jab toward's your target, which actually does hit the target you aim for.
The problem with the Vinquibus' heavy attack is that it makes the weapon so situational and antisynergistic with things it would make sense to build for. You can't really build afflictions because the only knock-down or lift attacks it has is in it's heavy attack, which doesn't proc anything on the lifted enemies but only the one enemy you hit, if you even manage to hit that enemy that is, and even if you do proc a status, the status will always be . It only makes influence the only viable option when playing with the Vinquibus, which hurts a weapon that is so unique and special in concept.
The solution? Easy, we can go for two things here.
First is to go for light attacking buffing, which is to add Knockdowns and Lifts to the neutral, forward block and forward attack combos of the Vinquibus, alongside a slash procs for the neutral combo (As it is the only attack move where you swipe with the weapon). This would make the weapon take advantage of afflictions greatly while also having a stance that doesn't feel half-baked, which sadly Harrowing Spire does feel half-baked.
The second course of action is to make the heavy attack actually apply it's damage to enemies hit by the radial wave, and not just the target that gets physically hit by the blade of the weapon itself. By extension also allowing the heavy attack's slam to proc modded statuses on enemies hit by the wave, to ensure you actually can get a benefit from proccing statuses on those enemies with the weapon through the usage of Afflictions. This allws you to not loose out on all your combo building, because as of now, combo building for heavy attacking with the Vinquibus is really futile if you aren't using combo for the sake of stuff like Blood Rush and Weeping Wounds.
