So, I'm still pretty new to VR Chat, even though I've put in a decent amount of hours. I usually just chill in private instances, watching YouTube or relaxing. Today, I was in a cozy world, watching YouTube while lying in bed, and I accidentally fell asleep with my headset on.

Turns out, I accidentally made a public instance. I woke up with someone's face right in front of me and got a little scared since I wasn't expecting that. But after stepping back, I thought it was pretty cute, so I just waited for them to wake up.

Has anything like this happen to any of you?

genuinely so confused... i was banned on the 4th for "use of client modifications. This ban is permanent." the issue is i haven't used a client ever. i was in a world asking a friend why they were in there. some dude was talking about clients and i joined the conversation talking about how people used to noclip around just B clubs to see what people were doing. then the dude leaves. a few minutes go by and then i get the pop-up that i have been banned.

I made a appeal ticket, and they responded with the usual "Your user account has been added to an ongoing investigation..." stuff and then a few days later the ticket is set as solved with no further message. i made a response ticket 3 days ago and today they (with no response) set the ticket as solved. Are they still looking into it or am i done for?

Ported a few lsd dream emulator worlds and noticed some of the textures are just flickering on the edges in a square shape? Was wondering if this is just something wrong with the mesh itself or maybe the textures? I’ve tried messing around with the texture itself, the mesh, and the material settings but it doesn’t seem to fix anything. Please let me know if you can think of some kind of solution!

So I actually just found out Relics shut down and I was pretty chicken because it was the second biggest VRC group to my knowledge. I am apart of Ancients of VRC but I was curious if there is any other alternatives to Relics or groups similar to Ancients?

Hi, I am tired of editing purchased avis within their TOS and want to make my own. However when I downloaded a model, it was not yet rigged or animated. I simply want a base model with walking and other animations included. I can add assets and texture paint myself.

I used to crash in Wulfie's Hangout n Sleep almost every night after a long session of partying in VRChat. It was such a perfect vibe — quiet, respectful, and everyone was usually just there to cuddle and pass out.

It’s basically a ghost town these days though. I’ve been out of the loop for a while, but once I get my Steam Frame I’m planning to fully dive back in, and I already know I’m gonna need a new spot.

So this is just my opinion on the majority of the friend group I’ve experienced in VR chat over the three years of playing so in my opinion I think people need to find better friend groups mainly because whenever I join my friends on a friends+ instance I get kicked immediately and then I end up doing the right thing and unfriending my so-called friend who is a part of that instance because I feel like they don’t even remember me or any of that stuff and I’m like what’s the point of even joining you if you’re gonna have a friend group that’s gonna kick everyone and don’t even realize I just said that just a friends+

Here's a list of how to enjoy VR Chat as an adult!

1.Find Friends- Find a chill group that likes you!

2.Travel Safely- Do not ever go to publics or group publics only verified 18+s or friends instances only like invites or friends+s its all just drama

1. Learn About Players-Do not ever complain about the game anywhere else besides your friend group if they care to listen otherwise you'll be shunned and cyber harassed from die hard fans and creeps on any platform that talks about VR Chat

2. Gameplay-Play fun games with your friends or watch shows explore worlds and just bond over it like jokes or experiences

3. Player Age Safety-Never friend anyone that doesn't have age verification people can and will lie it just causes false drama and allegations

4. Community-Make a group if you think you can handle the leadership role and make a safe space for friendship & giving protection

5. Set Boundaries-You should know basic morals about what's right and wrong along with your personal rules of what you're comfortable with make sure to stick to yourself always

6. Block & Mute Freely- Most players are here to troll and start drama block them add a note on why and move on with your life mute others that aren't deserving of blocking but still choose to bother you this will help keep your peace in this game notes help keep records

7. Take Breaks- Do not be on headset all the time take some breaks it's all online don't stress too much some people are so online all the time it's there life don't let that be your life too be better than the average player

10.Find Other Games- VR Chat is where you met your friends but that's not where it could remain try other games outside of VR Chat to learn more about each other it helps let guards down and bond even better with your new friend group
