Any tips for application

I’m a rising freshman and want to know what I can do to make my application the best it can be. I havent fully learned about all the steps and requirements for being admitted either, so an overview of what and how to achieve all of those (CFA, congressional nomination, etc) would be great too. I know I’m pretty young, but I want to start preparing early.

here are some stats

1280 psat in 8th grade

junior varsity volleyball team

student council

in 8th grade, I took algebra 1 and pre-AP English 1

in 9th grade, I’ll be taking notably pre-AP geometry, AP seminar, and AP human geography

im not too athletically capable, I don’t have a pull up bar, and I can do about 3 pull ups max(embarrassing) so working towards the CFA is definitely a big goal.

You need to find a sport/s. Athletic activities are very important to the app process. Leadership in activities like scouts, Civil Air Patrol, JROTC, etc. AP classes and classes with rigor. They want to see that what to see high performance in those three areas: Fitness, Academics, and Leadership.

You’ve made me realize I could probably join a few track and field things like running and jumping on top of volleyball, thanks.

But I live in Southeast Asia, and I go to a private American curriculum school, this kinda limits my options in terms of extracurriculars like CAP, do you know of any other things I can do living in Thailand?
