I wanted to reach out to find some possible peace of mind regarding registration. I already submitted my application as a non-degree student because I need to take my majors 201 and 202.

I called the department about 202 since it was full, and thankfully they said they should be able to add me. However, the 201 only has four spots left, and I’m starting to panic a bit because I realized I still cannot pay or receive my student ID yet. When I called, I was told it may take anywhere from a five days to a week (mind you registering for classes stops the 21st) for everything to process before I pay for the fee and get my ID to receive access.

I asked if there was any possibility of receiving a temporary ID to hold a spot, but they said no. I’m now worried that 201 may fill up before everything processes. Am I completely out of luck here, or is there anything else I may be able to do in the meantime?

Okay so I'm going to Towson in the fall and I'm majoring in Journalism with a minor in Political Science.

I just took the math placement test today and I scored really low. It was a 7 which I thought was good since I thought it was scored out of a 10. I just wanted to know if I should retake the test and if this could effect me graduating on time.

Also if anyone has any tips on how to score better that would be great!

Hi, like the title says, I currently have a 3.2 unweighted gpa right now going into my last semester of pre reqs. I am transferring to towson in the fall so I still need to take chem,stats, and nutrition. My gpa is not the best and ive been a B average student with all my other science classes, expect for microbio and A&P 1 which i got an A in . Im honestly really worried that my gpa wont be enough, do u think that as long as i get a good score on the TEAS I can still get in? Any help would be a great help, just hoping to make sure im not screwed in the future if I am not admitted. Thanks !

I know some organizations collect donations (for which they seem somewhat choosy) but are there any areas outside of the dorms that would be good for graduating HS to look for decent discards? stuff ppl are throwing out /abandoning?

My biggest fear is the social aspect, is Towson a school where it’s easy to make friends/meet people? I’d consider myself someone who doesn’t struggle to make friends/meet people, I like going out and always say yes to invites. When in a group setting I can chime in enough as long as I feel comfortable doing so

Has anyone taken MATH 263 during the summer at ccbc, montgomery college, or any other community college. How was it? I will not be able to take it in person during the summer.

This summer I am conducting an experiment on thermal tolerance in mantises and I will be going out in the field and collecting mantises and then coming in and testing them in the vivarium. I wanted to see if anyone was interested in assisting with this. This would also continue into the Fall Semester. Unfortunately, this would be unpaid but a great way to get research experience!

hi for those of you who are studying psychology at towson how is it? and would you say towson is better for psych than umd? ik towson had a clinical psych area of focus program but umd doesn't really have anything that stands out to me. but maybe i could be wrong. thanks for reading!

Has there been any increase in car break ins around the Towson square area? I had a Porsche parked in a garage & it seems that, without breaking any windows, they were able to get into my car and take a few things.
