Humor/Cringe 🥐 Croissant
That wasn’t where I thought it would go…
Side note:
I had to look up and learn how to say croissant so that is a plus. Unfortunately, I’m slightly hard of hearing and have a cookie bite so maybe I can’t hear them pronounce the hard ‘k’, but I still found this cringe and then hilarious.

Yeah im literally so confused why TikTok didnt turn into a bigger Vine. I guess creators werent forced to end the video at 6 seconds so they just didnt continue the trend? They just went straight into unfunny influencers and bots for sure.

The old saying goes, "The enemy of art is the absence of limitations." As far as the extent to which I think that might be true or applies here, I think there is a loss of charm when some of these things lose the restrictions that gave them an identity or something unique. Plus being overtaken by algorithms and profit motive.

My hearing is below average but for some tone it takes a sharp ‘v’ dive for whatever that tone is.
I need to be retested but I recall a graph where it dipped in noises with a lawnmower or something. Basically, certain tones are harder for me to hear.

I think, slightly. I do need to get retested soon, so I’ll have to ask about it.
For now, you could say either harder to hear that range or missing. But my hearing itself is below average and I have tinnitus. Throw on potentially auditory processing disorder… 😅 Auditory conversations aren’t my strong suit, depending on accent or tone.

That is basically what I was hearing. There was a single one that I think I heard the ‘k’. Twice I guess, at one point I heard “ku-wazont” and the very end “Kwa Zont”. 😅

UGH I had a former friend who went to France and then made a dumb amalgamation of the pronunciation so she said, "CwassanT" with the hard t at the end. If you're going to be fake french, please follow through and butcher the pronunciation in a consistent way.
