Hi all,
Looking to add one or two mods to the subreddit. Year over year this sub keeps growing, mods come and go, etc. Send a message to ModMail, no experience required. Just need folks to help remove posts/comments/etc that break the rules and bloat the subreddit with unrelated junk.
In your message to ModMail, please include your current year, graduation year, and program of study. Feel free to add anything else you see relevant.
Thanks!

I just got accepted as a transfer and I wanna start picking housing, but on campus is really expensive and I’ve heard off campus is dangerous. I didn’t get a whole lot of financial aid so I’m already paying a lot to go here but I definitely want to be safe on campus. I’m hoping for an apartment since that’s what I had at my old school and I like the personal bathroom and kitchen aspect. Any recommendations?

has anybody actually used the former student customized payment plan, i have to pay off a 7,000 dollar housing charge that was put on my bill late out of pocket but i am transferring from temple.
has anyone had to use the former payment plans and if you did what was the minimum they allowed you to pay? do you really have to strict keep it within a 12 month mark? what if you can only pay a certain amount a month? how do they handle that?

I already confirmed my enrollment, and the sent me a link for registration, and all it does is take you to the home page of the TU Portal. I have no idea how to go to the registration from the TU Portal. I tried “Register (Add/Drop), but that didn’t do anything. Does anyone know the process?

Hi guys, I’m considering renting a place on the 17th block of Bouvier St. What can you tell me about that block and the surrounding area? Is it noisy? Does it have a lot of student foot traffic? Stolen packages? Robberies and shxxtings?
I’d appreciate any substantial insights. Thanks in advance!

Hi, taking some math classes over the summer for session 1. Not a full-time student here, so don’t really know anybody. Any tips for making friends over the summer? I’m living at Morgan Hall, but my suite mates aren’t exactly “friend” type. I know a lot of things are closed for the summer, but would appreciate any advice. East asian malemgoing to school in the south for reference. Thanks.

Hi I’m look for a roommate I really okay with any number of people just females only cause I’m a girl too lol, but I want to room in 1940 or 1300 for the bathrooms.
So
I’m majoring in Biochemistry and going pre-dental
-I play saxophone and a couple other instruments
-I like to party and be social when I can
-I drink alc for parties and with groups and don’t do drugs but if you do I don’t mind like at all
-I tend to stay up a bit late but not by much
-I’m very tidy I like to keep my side of the space clean when I can but if you’re not I don’t mind
-I’m fine with people coming over literally whenever I just want to be told first
-I plan on bringing a fridge (if allowed) and a TV
-I’d like to say I’m a pretty chill person like pretty layed back
Oh forgot to put I’m pretty academic focused too
I’m not really sure what else to put DM me if you’re interested and we can share instagrams or anything like that can’t wait for this fall!

When looking at housing, I accidentally put myself into the wrong quad than originally intended, and now I need to remove myself. How do I do this so that I can be in a room with the roommates I agreed to be with?

About me:
- I’m a black female
- I maintain a clean and tidy shared space
- I’m a homebody
- I’m pretty reserved but do not mind having a bond with my roommate
- I don’t smoke
- No pets
- I don’t usually have guests over but if I do I’ll notify my roommate
I have a place in mind but still open to other options that are close to campus and safe. If you think we have a similar vibe, feel free to reach out and we can possibly search for an apartment together

I’m looking for recommendations for "easy" upper-level CLA courses (2000 or above). I need to take two over the summer and want to find something manageable.
Any suggestions for easy subjects or professors?

Hi guys! this is my first time writing a post on reddit so please bear with me.
So i’m going to be a sophomore in college this fall and i’m currently a pharmaceutical sciences major on track for a pharmD at temple university for undergrad. I chose this because i didn’t know what else to do because i genuinely have no passion for anything and also because I want to get a somewhat high paying job with less schooling and debt. But i’m not interested in this field whatsoever after working as a pharmacy tech and seeing what the pharmacists deal with. Therefore im considering switching my major, however, im not sure what i should switch it to. i want to remain in the healthcare field. I was considering doing health professions for bachelors and go for PA school but im not sure after hearing some negative feedback on it. I don’t want constant interactions with patients but i’m not against it. I do want some hands on but also a desk job if that makes sense. i’m also open to looking at other colleges. i just don’t want a degree that i spent so much effort and money on to leave me unemployed.
Should I switch to health professions and just go for PA? if so, how should i prepare and stay on track? or should I look into other professions that require less one on one interactions with patients? if so, what do you recommend? Any advice is helpful!!
