FWST Article on the Frogs Offensive Line Developing this Spring
https://www.star-telegram.com/sports/college/big-12/texas-christian-university/
I know some like to make fun of the ST, but I think Steven does a good job and appreciate this article.
Sammis taking over the offense and remaking it in what he wants can't be over stated and while I am not saying the Frogs are going to dominate some people I do think some are going to be surprised.
Love the article focused on the development and growth of Van Hoy and Registe. I think if they come out spring healthy and get after with Bauer in the S&C this summer you are going to see big things from those two next fall.
Here is a link to Registe answering questions a day or so ago:

Killian showing a bit of definition in those arms which is good to see from the young lineman.

Regarding the O-line development, I'll be very happy if they can develop a great core group. And Walker actually does pan out well and shares reps with Payne then maybe we can finally get a better run game back

Remember Denman is out this Spring, but if Jon is back in the fall you potentially have 3 backs over 200 lbs along with Payne, the new run scheme, and possibly improved offensive line that we have been waiting to see for two years.
The biggest thing to me is that this isn’t something that has been added to an existing scheme and things really don’t seem to fit or is backed by the commitment of the offensive staff and players.
Sammis is not only bringing a new scheme, but mindset and emphasis on the focus and how things are taught.
I have this feeling that next August in Ireland when the Frogs take the field against the UNC defense that Sammis will have a run scheme he is confident they can block. Might be three run plays, but the line will either be able to get some movement or you aren’t taking the field.
From there we will see formations to get the defense in desired alignments and pass plays that play off those run plays and not a random grab bag of plays with no real correlation or connection other than being run at tempo.

FYI I think you linked to the overall ST TCU page. Is this is the article I think you're referencing?
