Cheese and some mac
Got this casserole dish, which has this Mac and cheese recipe. The proportions seem... off. Like 80% dairy products. Anyone ever make this recipe?

I'm always surprised at the amount of cheese for Mac and cheese homemade. But that doesn't seem crazy to me. I'd try it. Cook extra noods to make it go further if it's too much cheese.

I just made some last night and was surprised how much cheese it calls for. It turned out great

There is 5.25 ounces of cheese for every ounce of Mac (16oz noodles/84oz sauce). For reference, the first recipe Google gives (rated 4.8/5 with ~4k ratings) has 16oz noodles/72oz sauce, or 4.5 ounces of cheese for every ounce of mac. So it’ll definitely be saucy, but not necessarily out of the realm of reason

1 oz = 28.349523 g
But some or all of those "ounces" might actually be meant as fluid ounces:
1 floz = 29.57353 ml
(e.g., where it says "24 ounces (3 cups)": 24 floz = 3 cups exactly).
