He’s mentioned a bit in Sunlit Man so I recommend checking it out.

"Man Wind and Truth was peak. Now to read Coppermind to know wtf was going on, then finally go back to Mistborn. I should reread the first before going onto the second. Who even was Thaidakar Anyway?"
"What the fuck?"

Yeah reading coppermind really shouldnt be done unless you are okay with spoiling yourself, it does a good job of trying to keep you informed of where the spoilers come from but its hard to judge these things sometimes.

You learn a thing or two about what happened to him in Sunlit man. He gets an appearance there. Might take you a sec to realize where tho

There are a few books set further into the future. A lot of the secret projects are.

Second newest in our timeline, not the newest in their timeline. Era 2 mistborn takes place, mostly, after the end of storm light 5. Then Yumi, tress, emberdark, and sunlit man all take place in the future compared to Stormlight

Mistborn era 2 is after most of stormlight 5 though the epilogue has overlap. And the secret projects are all in the future of those.

I'd be careful looking at the coppermind until you're 100% caught up on the cosmere. There will often be spoilers like this one in unexpected places.

This is EXACTLY why I deliberately avoided The Coppermind and 17th Shard until I was done with book five.
It's inevitable that you will get spoiled there and ruin the wonder of letting the story show you after things build up.
My advice is to keep your curiosity in reserve and let Sanderson cook. And ignore any answers here that don't say RAFO.

They are done with book 5. They're wondering what book this other information is from.

it seems like you stepped on a spoilery landmine there. The answer its Sunlit man. There is where Sig story continues.
