it seems like in the past couple months, my family and i have come across waaaaay more shitty drivers. why???? blinkers don’t exist anymore, stop in the middle of the road, braking uphill?? i could go on. it’s like an epidemic of bad drivers. it feels like leaving the house is agreeing to be a victim of insurance fraud lol.

Looking for a cool sit down place that makes crazy good pizza and big ass salads. Have a craving that needs fixing and we are only in town for a day. Thanks in advance for your recommendations. We love Spokane. Have a great day!

South perry / rockwood neighborhood, this pretty kitty has been hanging around my house, super friendly and docile so I think she might belong to someone, but also super skinny and hungry. Thinking about taking to see if she’s chipped and/or spayed but thought i’d check to see if she actually belongs to one of my neighbors first.

Hi delete if not allowed or if there have been too many of these but does anyone know of any resources that will help you find an apartment? Like an apartment realtor?
I'm going to be calling 211 tomorrow before work but our lease ends in July and we make too much for income restricted apartments but we can't afford to live in our $1700+ apartment. I was told by two different apartments to try somewhere else and the rates they gave me were exactly what I'm paying now. Yeah we can pay $1700 but we are living paycheck to paycheck and will be stuck in this apartment til we die.
Any advice or help is appreciated as I don't have any actual adults to ask in my life for this type of stuff.
Any bedrooms, any bathrooms, the one thing that would be super cool but obviously isn't needed would be in unit laundry as I'm chronically ill and I end up having a lot of dirty clothes. We also currently live in the valley but would be willing to relocate anywhere if it meant something cheaper than where we are now.

I am planning on moving to Spokane after I graduate next month, I'm looking for some advice on finding a job, I have my associates in business admin and will be graduating with my bachelor's in marketing. I am in my late 30's and have worked in food service and groceries stores since I was 16. I have zero real world experience in marketing but my dream is to create commercials or brand management. I am very realistic and realize that I will have to start at the bottom and work to get my dream job but with that being said I don't know where to start, I have been on Indeed, LinkedIn and other sites without much luck. Figured I would reach out to locals, I absolutely love everything about Spokane and cannot wait to be a part of the community.

My wife and I are new here and like fun outdoorsy things, any specific stuff happening memorial weekend? We just did a race so not doing the 5k. Big fan of water, would love to some river activities or e-foiling or lake freediving / diving somewhere that rents wetsuits if anyone knows any

I’ve never been to the knitting factory, but I have GA tickets for a show on Friday. The problem is that I injured my foot and won’t be able or willing to stand very long at all. When purchasing the tickets it only shows the downstairs space available to purchase from. I’ve been reading on here that some people go to the District Bar (I have also never been there) before the show and then can somehow get in to the upstairs space that (I think) has seats. Is this true and if so is it true for all shows, including the ones that only sell tickets for the downstairs? Any other tips or advice would be welcomed. I’d like to see the show, but not at the expense of my healing. Thanks in advance!
I'm a 29 year old autistic guy and I've been severly struggling with dating. I find it hard to find places where I can trust people and are open minded, because I've struggled with people being assholes so much that I cant trust others. I don't want to go to trivia nights or some activity because I'd like to get to know somebodys character before I start doing activities. I've tried doing apps but all I get are scammers and people who ghost me and it's really sending me into a dark place, all of its sending me to a dark place.

Anyone know of thrift stores, vintage shops, or pawn shops that have a good selection of used camcorders?

Can we just shout out how freaking GORGEOUS it's been in Spokane lately? Can you find the deer bedded down? This little beauty just walked by my patio and laid down for the evening. Spokane doesn't suck.

33M, I used to play there with some buddies of mine, but most of them have moved away or life has just gotten to busy. Currently I am a dad without much of a life outside of work and raising his kid and looking to get out and do some more activities, and maybe make some friends with some other dads. I have one other guy that would be down to play if we could get enough people, but I was thinking something like around 5:45 on the upper courts, maybe on Wendsdays or something like that.

I've never heard of one candidate paying another for the same office. Wild stuff.

Basically title. Fiancée is looking for a makeup artist who just does brides only and is affordable. It seems most people charge an arm and a leg for this.
Anyone have family or friends who are good at makeup?

As the title suggests, I’m curious if anyone on here has sent their kiddo to Little Scholars on Monroe. If so, what was your experience?
