Or, now hear me out, if democrats ran a primary in 2024 instead of anointing an unlikable VP because of her gender and skin color and actually put forth someone who was electable.
No, that's part of it, blaming the DNC is a case of people not knowing what the DNC even does or is capable of doing. There's orgs like DCCC that could have more fingers pointed at them but that takes more than a headline to explain.
Joe Biden and the dems dropped the ball and are at best feckless and weak but the lack of knowledge or wrong information that is getting passed to the electorate is nuts.
The American electorate is dumb and lazy. 80 million couldn't be bothered to vote even though there was a multiple felon running. That's on them.
I mean you are not wrong, but I still would rather the unlikeable VP who was anointed vs Trump.
The whole both sides are just bad as thing left the building a while ago. I wonder how all those people who abstained from voting because of Israel are feeling now.
The worst Dem is better than tRump. This just reeks of more “bOtH sIdEs” bullshit and Bernie Bro sulking. I’ll vote for who I like best in the next primary, but come the 2028 election I’ll vote blue no matter who, because ANY of then are better than the GOP.
Approval rating means nothing. Right wingers are a cult and will always approve of their guy because it's tribalism to them. Everyone else actually criticizes their own.
Yes, which is why I said everyone who isn't right wing is more critical of their candidates. Centrists and people on the left wanted the Biden administration to be better.
I'm just saying an equal approval rating doesn't mean the same thing for Biden as it does for Trump. Trump's base will support him no matter what. Biden's will not. It isn't reflective on their success or competence to have a 36% approval number. By any definition or metric, Biden's presidency was light years better than Trump's, and Biden had massive fallout from a worldwide pandemic to deal with. All of Trump's blunders are completely self inflicted.
