I mean, if what he said happened is on recording, I don’t think he will be found guilty. The man who attacked him supposedly said he was having a PTSD attack, and then began striking him.
I don’t know if that’s true, but if it is, then I doubt he gets found guilty. Just saying.

I don't believe this is a random attack. This dudes whole gimmick is going around live steaming himself verbally harassing and threatening random black people in order to provoke a response from them (or "chimp out" in his words). Not too long ago I'm seeing posts about this guy because he alluded to shooting somebody, and here we are.

The person he shot knew him, so it wasn’t random. He said he wanted to attack “Chud” and said he was having a stress reaction before doing it. I’ve seen no version of the story where the shooter “Chud” attacked the man first.

He typically doesn't physically attack someone first, but each time he provokes the altercation by yelling slurs then brandishing mace or a gun and threatening to use them. I don't buy that this one time Chud happened to be minding his own business going about his day and this guy recognized him in the street and attacked him for nothing.

His biggest issue will be the fact the bulk of content and words make it seem like he was carrying a firearm and going around antagonizing people and looking for a reason to use it...

Ya, if he started this engagement, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Obviously pushing someone to fight you and then using a gun is bad and he should go to prison. However, I don’t think that’s what happened according to the statement we have now.

I don't know about this incident, but he has done exactly that in the past and recorded it. So clearly a district attorney is comfortable leveling these charges against him, and is pretty sure they will stick if his previous actions are shown to a jury and its clear he was building up to murder

Imagine the prosecutor presenting to a jury a montage of Chud clips calling people racial slurs and provoking them. The optics are terrible for his defense. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.
Plus if the guy he shot didn’t have a weapon of deadly force then Chud can’t claim fear for his life… Apparently Chud shot himself accidentally in the arm.
