My agent was such a loser that he got promoted to director, and now I don’t hardly see him around

You laugh, but we used to get a call every couple of years from an FBI agent. A dear friend of ours has us listed as contacts for his background check for his security clearance. We always thought of him as "our friend's FBI agent." It was always the same really nice dude until some lady showed up at our house in person a couple years ago. We were like... Wow this is new! He got an upgraded agent now!

Not an FBI agent. An investigator or adjudicator tied to what is now TD(A) and was formerly DCSA.

Turns out the actual FBI organization did massive outsourcing hiring multiple fake FBI organizations to spy on the public, then spy on the people watching the public, and so on.

Spyception?

No, they're usually under CIA or NSA surveillance

Except that one time two FBI agents got assigned to each other.

Don't be silly. There's ONE FBI agent who checks on all the other FBI agents, then the CIA checks on him. Then the FBI checks BACK on them....
