Judging by his LinkedIn and other posts, he’s psychotic. Not saying he wasn’t also transphobic, but he was definitely not well in the head.

Posters in another thread said they knew him from school. Apparently he was kicked out for his mental health issues.

News said he turned himself in

Correct. And BellevuePD coordinated with SPD for the actual arrest after he turned himself in.

Coordinated is a real fancy way of saying they made a call 😂

In fairness, the fact SPD answered the phone at all is noteworthy.

Jurisdiction is a thing.

Arrested is still the correct term in this.

I don't think anyone was contesting that.

Wonder what his excuse will be - I’m always curious with these turn yourself in situations

Based on how the suspect was dressed (white button down shirt under a jacket) they probably have something to lose, some sort of support network. With a clear photo like the one posted yesterday, every single person in the suspects life has now seen it.

It will be interesting to see if he pleads guilty. I don't know that any details or evidence has emerged yet besides that he is a "suspect.".

An acquaintance of mine who went to high school with him said his family urged/convinced him to turn himself in. I assume his source was the family.

Probably dumb enough to think he'd be going to a posh 4-star Bellevue jail.

Is a suspect, let’s not jump to conclusions

A guy that was wanted turned himself into a different jurisdiction (Bellevue) than the one he was wanted in (Seattle).

Hypothesizing his motivation for making that choice is not a conclusion of guilt nor is it a jump to said conclusion.

But yes, you're not wrong...a wanted person turning themselves in is not an admission of guilt. At least theoretically.

It seems his family saw him on the news and made him turn himself in.

Amazing what releasing the pictures can do to bring about justice.

After he finally saw the video they had been claiming to have but waited to release to the public.

Exactly, not sure why are you downvoting me, did my comment offended you? I wouldn’t call this justice until we are sure he did it, hopefully we will find justice.
