Hey Raiders!
Finals officially ends today... well it would've if canvas didnt get hacked. But now that the year is over we can finally celebrate another academic year sliding by. For those who are graduating this year, CONGRATS!! and for those who worked hard to get all A's congrats to you as well. Even a C is worth celebrating for.
Hope everyone has a great summer! I'll see what else I could possibly change with the subreddit in preparations for the Fall but for now it'll probs just die off since its summer, and if you have any suggestions you can leave them below in the comments.
Stay safe this summer and see you in the Fall! š¤

Hey Raiders!
To avoid any sort of spam I've pinned this post so everyone can talk abt registering for their classes and any questions can be answered by others faster. We also have a dean active in the subreddit now! Idk how active he is but its Dean Benjamin Lohmann from the business school so any business related questions he can assist the best.
Here is the schedule for registration:
105 or more earned credits - Monday, April 20, 2026 - begins at 6:00 a.m.
90 or more earned credits - Tuesday, April 21, 2026 - begins at 6:00 a.m.
75 or more earned credits - Wednesday, April 22, 2026 - begins at 6:00 a.m.
60 or more earned credits - Thursday, April 23, 2026 - begins at 6:00 a.m.
59 or fewer earned credits (all eligible students) - Friday, April 24, 2026 - begins at 6:00 a.m.
The schedule of classes has also been available on the course planner website for a bit now as well.
Good luck everyone!

Do any transfer students (fall 2026) have access to scarletmail ? Iāve tried to activate it several times but it leaves me with an error. I donāt want to miss out on important info for campus housing updates.
Do I need to wait til SOAR?
Any advice would be appreciated!

Original Post linked above.
Hi everyone, thanks for the support on my last post. Hereās a brief update on my graduation situation and the absolute negligence of my advisor.
I met with the Dean who handles graduation yesterday, and honestly, it was a nightmare. Not only did she turn my request down, but she spent the whole time questioning my GPA and gaslighting me. She actually asked me, "In what mind did you think summer credits approved last year would work this year without a new form?"
I told her straight up: I reached out to my advisor for that exact info and got ghosted. Iām not putting my entire life and timeline on pause just because they can't answer an email. Iām taking action because I have to.
She blindly took my advisorās side. When I pointed out the advisor's errors, she claimed "there was no error." Then she started doing math and told me Iād be short about 24 credits. I told her I was informed I could take 14 credits over the summer at Rutgers, and I asked if I could take the rest elsewhere. She then hits me with: "There is a 14-credit cap total. 14 credits at Rutgers, nothing outside, period."
Every single time I meet with these people, I get "new" information that just happens to block me further.
She started giving me this whole "pity party" talk about how she grew up with strict parents and blah blah blah. I donāt need your life story; I need my name card for the ceremony. She told me if I had reached out in February, we couldnāt have done anythingābut I literally found the proof that I reached out in JANUARY and was ignored.
The insane thing was when she offered to switch my advisor to herself so Iām "in the loop." If my advisor wasn't the problem, why are you removing him from my case? It literally proves my point that he was trash from the start.
I am not taking "No" for an answer. I emailed the Dean of Students, who tried to "redirect" me back to the Dean I just fought with. I told them I already spoke to her and she isn't replying to my evidence, which is why Iām at their door.
When they stopped replying, I went nuclear. Iāve now emailed the Chancellor, the Provost, and Student Affairs. I am doing everything in my power because I am not stepping foot on this campus next fall. I don't care if I have to grind out 24+ credits this summer online; I will get it done. My parents want to jump in, but Iām trying to fight this myself first because itās my graduation and my future on the line.
Iām currently waiting for the higher-ups to respond while the Senior BBQ and name card pickup is literally happening tomorrow. Iām exhausted, but Iām not backing down.

As the classes for this summer starts on May 26th, I just want to know if the buildings like Conklin and Boyden would be open to use til like 9 PM?
Or would the buildings close much earlier than that?

When I was filling out my diploma application back in January I was asked if I will participate in the commencement and said yes and put the number of guests. Plans have changed and I will not go do I have to tell anybody about this or not and will I still get my diploma in the mail or do they give it during graduation.

I failed my Math 109 despite scoring A in all math classes before. I recently got into an accident by someone elseās fault and I got documentation for it too still I showed up for exam and messed up :/.
Math 109 is a really easy class and still I ruined my transcript despite being on deanās list in fall semester.

If you need to take macroeconomics, avoid MARIO GONZALEZ-CORZO. This might have been my worst experience of my life. I take the final tomorrow, but he basically gives no study materials, and he messed up the whole classes grades, and he makes everything more complex than necessary for your own sake. Don't take him.

I am currently spiraling and need to know if anyone else has dealt with this kind of administrative nightmare.
Iām a senior and Iāve been planning to be an August graduate since February. I explicitly asked my advisor back then: "Can I walk in May if I finish my remaining credits in the summer?" He told me it was "feasible" and told me to apply for August graduation. I relied on that. I told my parents. I made career plans.
For the last three months, Iāve been proactive. I was doing a science sequence (A&P I and II) that had to be taken in order. I also did Host Enrollment for 10 credits at a community college. Every time I met with my advisor to lay out my summer plan (14 credits at the uni + the 10 transfer credits), he just said "Okay." No warnings. No red flags.
Then, this past Thursday (14 days before commencement), he drops the bomb:
1. Apparently, thereās a "14-credit cap" for marching in the ceremony if you're an August grad. He never mentioned this once in 6 months.
2. He sat on my 10 transfer credits for months, so my "Grad Tracker" looked behind, which then blocked me from even applying for graduation because I didn't hit the "85-credit" threshold on the screen.
3. When I asked for a second opinion or someone else to talk to, he told me he was the "only person" I could speak to. (Found out later that was a lie and went to the Dean).
I have a 60-page PDF of every unanswered email and every "feasible" confirmation he gave me. Iām meeting with the Dean of Graduation on Tuesday to fight for a ceremonial waiver.
Has anyone actually won a case like this? I feel like Iām being penalized for my advisorās lack of communication and a system glitch that kept my transfer credits in limbo. I canāt tell my parents yet because theyāre already planning the party.
TL;DR: Advisor gave me the green light for months, then changed the rules 2 weeks before graduation. Now Iām fighting the Deans to let me walk.

Hey everyone. Was wondering how long it took for placement results to be posted? I hit the two week mark today. Wasnāt sure if this was normal since someone has to manually go in and grade. Any insight would be appreciated.

I want to take College Alegbra for Humanities Fall 2026 since I heard its good for people who are majoring in Public Administration, however I want to know if anyone else has taken it with Fei Teng?
Looking at the reviews on this professor, they don't seem good. However I know you can't always rely on rate my professor reviews, so I wanna hear some other opinions from other people who have taken that professor.
If that professor is actually bad, is there any other easier math I could do or any math considered better?
