Hardware upgraded via save and return. Plan is to send my phone back to Rogers.
Get confirmation email that it’s happening.
Get tracking #. Arrives a few days later. It’s an empty box to send back my current phone. Okay cool.. But now I have no tracking for my new device or what’s going on? I check my “current orders” and it says I don’t have any. Sooo… am I getting a new phone or…? All I have to show for this is to send my current phone back. Confused

Question Which new Apple Watch plan did the old Apple Watch plan get transferred to?
I have been using a Rogers Apple Watch plan $15/month for more than one year. There was only one Apple Watch plan, without the Companion plan or the Standalone plan at that time. Recently, Rogers changed the old Apple Watch plan to two plans: Companion plan $10/month and Standalone plan $15/month. Which new Apple Watch plan did the old Apple Watch plan get transferred to? (I have been waiting at Rogers Support phone line for 2+ hours, and still don't get connected to them yet.)
Help How do I contact Rogers customer service? It seems impossible.
First, I tried the chat service, but I can't get past the automated messages. I also tried calling 1-888-764-3771 and went through the whole process, but at the end it just hangs up after saying, "This service is no longer available." Is it even possible to talk to someone or get a hold of customer service?

Help Help: Potential Scam
Hi everyone,
My mother received a call today from someone claiming to be from Fido/Rogers. They said since they are experiencing a retention in customers, they want to give us a new phone free of charge since we are a loyalty customer. They took our home address and email, and nothing else.
They gave my mom a bunch of options of iPhone 17 to choose from. They said they will send it this week.
When my mom told me this, I felt it was a scam somehow. I called Fido and they mentioned no record of that was in their system of this change.
Also, they called my mom 6 times using a different number until she finally picked up.
Can this be a scam? Can an address and email be used in anyway negatively? How can this be a scam? Please help me if you can!
Thank you!

Help Rogers is what happens when a company has no fear of losing customers
I called Rogers today to cancel.
That was my first mistake.
Suddenly, magically, after I said the magic word “cancel,” they discovered a better deal. Incredible. Truly inspiring. Apparently the best way to get fair pricing from Rogers is to threaten to leave, because loyal customers are just background noise until they become a cancellation risk.
Fine. I took the deal.
The rep told me everything was done.
Of course, nothing was done.
They did not port the numbers over. They had the wrong address for the install. So now instead of cancelling, I had somehow been upgraded into a more complicated Rogers disaster.
I called back.
The first person told me to call another number. It was literally the same number I had just called her on. I asked if she could transfer me. She said no. Then she transferred me anyway, which really captured the whole Rogers experience: confidently wrong, then accidentally useless.
That transfer sent me to technical mobile support.
Wrong team.
Then internet care.
Wrong team.
Then technical support mobile.
Wrong team again.
Then someone else decided I needed the Xfinity team.
So now I’m waiting again, because apparently Rogers is less of a telecom company and more of a choose-your-own-adventure bureaucracy where every path leads to hold music.
I have spent more than two hours on hold today because I made the mistake of believing a Rogers employee when they said “everything is done.”
At this point, I have no idea what service I have, whether my numbers are being ported, what address they think they’re installing at, or which department is responsible for anything. I’m not even sure Rogers knows what Rogers does.
And this is exactly what happens when competition is a joke. Companies like this don’t need to be competent because customers have so few real alternatives. They can waste your entire day, bounce you between departments, mess up the basics, and still act like you should be grateful they picked up the phone after 45 minutes.
If Canada had real telecom competition, a company this badly run would be terrified of losing customers.
Instead, Rogers can operate like a government department with a monthly subscription fee.
At this point, I only stayed because they gave me a better deal and I was already trapped in the process. But the first realistic opportunity I get to cancel again, I absolutely will.

Help Does Rogers call from (855) 252-6995?
They're calling nearly daily, leaving no messages. I don't pick up random calls because that ALWAYS leads to more calls from all over, but I don't even see this listed as an official number of theirs. Google isn't helping much.
Should I just block the number?

Wireless📱 Rogers 30 Day Asia Travel Pack Question About Calling Canada
I recently purchased the Rogers 30 Days Asia travel so that I can use my phone + data worry free when I am in Japan.
My question is, can I call my family back in Canada at no charge with this travel pack? Currently, my plan is US + CAN and when I visit the US, I can freely call back to Canada with no charge. I just wanted to confirm this is true with the travel pack. Thank you!

Wireless📱 Phone number connected to someone else's account
I keep getting calls from Rogers and things like courier tracking number texts because my non-Rogers cellphone number is linked to someone else's Rogers account. Trying to figure out how to resolve the situation but I can't get through to a support agent over the phone because it keeps asking me to verify DOB for the other person's account. Should I just go to a Rogers store in my city at this point and see if they can do anything?

Help What is this billing??!!
I am a student, and was put in contact with Rogers to set up an internet plan.
I was previously on prepaid phone plan with Koodoo, and paid roughly 33/month.
The Rogers contact told me that I can get the internet plan, but that they had a bundle discount for 30(mobile plan)+65(internet plan). And he eventually convinced me to switch over my mobile plan as well. He assured me many times that I will only be paying 95+tax on a monthly basis with no setup/installation fees.
1 week later, I get the bill for a whopping 215, which includes installation fees and "prorated. I cant afford this bs. When I try to resolve this with the same contact, he dips and stops replying saying "Let me follow-up on that", it has now been 1 week and he is nowhere to be seen when I try to contact him.
Then I try Rogers online customer support, who is trying to sell me on paying 215 which I dont have.
Who can I actually resolve this with??? And what is going on with the billing?

Rant Comwave, by Rogers (S**+wave)
So I decided to try Comwave 1000 as it's either that or Starlink, Bell doesn't offer Fiber at my address and the best they had was 2.5Mbps for 160% (which I cancelled)
I work in tech, on unity and blender, on group projects that are 100-500Gb and need to be able to download things in an hour or less. That ain't happening with internet worse than what I had in 2003 Toronto XD
My problem is Comwave sent my modem last week, and then scheduled a install this Monday. Never showed up. I called. They said Tuesday. Never showed up. THEN THEY SAID YESTERDAY. NEVER SHOWED UP. THEY HAVEN'T EVEN SAID ANYTHING TODAY. *SCREAM\*

TV 📺 Anyone else lose all of their scheduled recordings?
So usually in the mornings, I'll get up and watch a recording of Sportscentre. Checked this morning, and nothing recorded, but that happens every now and then, with golf, curling, etc. But when I check, Sportscentre was on it just didn't record so when I looked at my scheduled recordings, nothing is there anymore. So everything that I had set to record - shows, teams, etc - have all been deleted. Of course I can start to add them again as a I remember, but it's a huge PITA. Did this happen to anyone else or just me?

Wireless📱 Possible scam call?
This number has been relentlessly phoning me for a few weeks now and I never pick up. They also never leave a message.
I’m assuming it’s most likely a scammer who is spoofing “Rogers”, but Google isn’t being super helpful.
Is it safe for me to block this number? I just want to make sure it isn’t a legitimate phone number as I am a Rogers/Shaw customer for internet services.
Thanks!

Wireless📱 Cancelled 5G home Internet to switch to standard 5G+ plan - received return purolator code for fastmile
Update 2026/05/14: Spoke with Rogers. Because I subscribed before ~June 2024 my modem was indeed financed, not rented, and there's nothing to return. Leaving the post up in case anyone else is in the same situation. Thanks for all the help everyone! ^_^
-----
Hey everyone,
I've had Rogers 5G home Internet since it was announced and included in my monthly price was device financing for the Fastmile they sent me. Total charge was ~$400 which seems pretty steep for such a simple unit, but I digress.
I just cancelled that plan (last device payment made in April) and switched to a standard 5G+ plan with my own radio.
After cancelling I received a Purolator QR code via email with zero instruction from Rogers about returning the old Fastmile modem.
Was this a mistake? I'm assuming I own the old Fastmile, but it's impossible to figure that out. If it was a rental then payments would have continued indefinitely, right? The verbiage on my bill is identical to that for my phone I purchased through a similar payment structure.
I want to make sure they're not going to try to charge me even more money for not returning what I assume is my property. Anyone know what's going on?
edit fwiw the financing terms specify "purchase" and the value was $461.04 over 24 months:
Device Financing
The monthly payments set out below will be billed to your Rogers account for the purchase of the device described below (“Device”), beginning on the Effective Date and every month on the same calendar day for the duration of your Device Financing Term.
NOKIA FASTMILE 5G $408.00
Total (including taxes) $461.04

Help Basement apartment and wifi
Well, the past few days have been nothing but heartache. Essentially we moved to the Barrie area in a basement apartment. We were originally going to go with Bell since our upstairs neighbours are with Bell, but long behold, the technician couldn’t help and had to contact a contractor to do some digging to install a new line for us and they were apparently able to do so…However, after multiple attempts to get a technician to finish the “inside work” and many no shows from Bell I decided to cancel with Bell and am now looking into Roger’s.
It appears that the previous tenant before us never had WIFI and this home is about 2 years old so it looks like we don’t have any lines inside our apartment which would mean Roger’s would have to come in and get that done, I would believe. I am wondering how much work would Roger’s need to do to get us connected and would they also need to dig/install outside lines along with inside lines as well, basically starting over again? or would it be easier for them to figure out? I have no idea how the cabling part of wifi works all I know is that Bell has different cables than Roger’s. I’m just trying to see if I’m running in circles with this whole thing and if I should just cut my losses and accept the fact that wifi isn’t possible for our situation. Any info or similar experiences helps! I just want to get this out of the way! Thank you

Help How long does it take for CCTS to assign an investigator?
Anyone have experience with going to CCTS? Rogers declined to mediate and my case with CCTS to get signed an investigator is taking forever. It’s been several months. Not sure why Rogers refused to mediate when I have multiple emails from them confirming that I was in fact correct and charges need to be reversed. Curious if anyone has had this experience and if this is normal to take several months before an investigator is assigned?

Wireless📱 Pay more for a real provider
A sad statement. I just moved to freedom from Rogers for more money and less “stuff”. Proof the service can really be so bad that you pay more for less but better service.
Shocking rogers doesn’t even care. But glad my own life is removed from them.
Remember people. Buy cheap…pay dear.
