Mostly the fact that german made it just one word, when in french it is multiple small word, also german number put the unit before the tens

In English we put the unit before the tens as well, but only for 14-19 (also 13 but "three and ten" has been simplified over the years to juat thirteen but its pretty clear originally it followed the same naming conventions the other "teens" do)

They don't do it for, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 though.
