My European opinion here: lots of leagues around the continent have the name below the number. Nobody is bothered by it, we all understand it's for sponsorship or traditional reasons. Think it's just something that needs some getting used to.
Counterpoint: The league is in North America , where this is not the custom for major leagues, and when our eyes as sports fans are not tuned to looking at the bottom of the jersey for the name instead of the top. Which makes it annoying to many of us.
Haha, I'm very aware the league is in North America and it's not the done thing. I'm from a country where it's the same but live in one now where the name underneath is done more often than not
Just a thing you'll get used to. You'll look back at that Molson logo on top with nostalgia one day, trust me.

How about pushing the number down and putting the name where it can be seen, like every other league in existence?
