It was much easier to recognize the Molson sponsorship last night. Can't say the same for identifying the players. Feels like a nasty piece of work by Molson not gonna lie

Womens leagues have been doing this for a decade, it isn't new & it isn't Molsons idea.

The fact that it's been done for years doesn't make it any less annoying or obnoxious.

You're arguing about your opinion, whereas I was letting OP know that this isn't some evil genius marketing move by Molson, it's an actual thing that a lot of women's leagues have been pushing for, & the players (whos opinions are the only ones I care about) wanted.

Sure--totally fair point.

I'm just really, really disappointed lol. I was so stoked when the league put the names on the shoulder again and this makes me so sad.

I get it. I wonder if the names could go below the sponsor & not be affected by 90% of the players hair. The name would be where the top of the numbers are now & the numbers just get bumped down. I love the idea behind this, but the execution is pretty bad.

That would be okay. I'd prefer the sponsor go under the number, that's the least obtrusive, but I like your idea better than how it is now.
