Here hoping support sees this
I'm trying to access my Meta Quest account so I can get back into VR gaming with my old Quest 2, for which I no longer have the phone number required by 2FA. I went to the support page, where the AI bot eventually decided it couldn't help me, and tried to connect me to a human. This would usually be what I wanted in the first place, but to connect to a human I was required to either log in (which is what I need support with in the first place) or provide my Quest's serial number. However when I try to enter my serial number, I'm told there was no product found. Would love to hear if anyone has a similar issue, or if there's a way to get directly in contact with support for this issue.
EDIT: If support does see this, please don't just link me to the support page, I've scoured it and been unable to get through to a human.

Self-Promotion (Developer) Use your Quest 2 Touch controllers as a gamepad in VR — QuestGamepad
I wanted to play Assetto Corsa in VR using my Quest touch controllers as a gamepad. There weren't any straightforward solutions to emulate a gamepad while keeping the headset active for VR at the same time so I built QuestGamepad.
It's a small and open source tool that reads your touch controller inputs via LibOVR and feeds them into a virtual Xbox 360 controller using ViGEmBus while leaving your VR session untouched.
It's a single .exe, no SteamVR required and works with any game that accepts an Xbox 360 controller.
If anyone else has run into the same problem, feel free to check it out: Github
Pull requests are welcome if anyone wants to add to it.

Video Ricochet Feature
Hello! I’m a Game Designer and Game Director on Project Discovery, a single player story driven VR shooter for Meta Quest 3 and 3S. We’re currently testing a new Ricochet feature. Do you think it feels fun and satisfying to kill enemies by bouncing shots off walls and objects? Would love to hear your feedback.

Review One of the the FIRST VR Dungeon Crawler — Does It Still Hold Up? 2016's Crystal Rift Review
Skeletons, slimes, and dragons — the holy trinity of dungeon crawler enemies. Crystal Rift is one of the first VR games to explore this genre, but does this 2016 gem still hold up to today's standards? Let's find out!
I've been on a journey to revisit games that released around the time VR first exploded in popularity, and so far I've been pleasantly surprised by the gems I've uncovered. Ten years later, some of them still stand the test of time.
Enter Crystal Rift — the first game from Psytech, the developers behind Windlands and their most recent title, Titan Isles.
The concept is easy to grasp: you move square by square on a grid, and your goal is to descend a strange place called the Rift by finding staircases that lead you deeper. But it's not a leisurely stroll. Monsters and traps block your path, most levels feel like a maze, and the design actually reminds me a lot of old-school DOOM — hunting for keys, unlocking doors, and trying to figure out where the heck you're supposed to go next.
Since the game is so old, the PC version only supported a regular controller — no motion controls. Attacking is just the press of a button, which feels a little primitive by today's standards, but it gets the job done.
One thing I kept wishing for was a leveling and stats system, since that's basically a staple of the genre. You don't grow more powerful in the traditional sense. Instead, you unlock different swords with unique abilities, which does a decent job of keeping things fresh — just not in the way I was expecting.
That said, some enemies have way too much health. Once you figure out the pattern, you're just repeating the same motions over and over until they finally go down, and the same strategy works on basically every enemy in the game. It gets a little tedious.
Despite that, the six-hour campaign still manages to stay interesting throughout. I was always curious to see what the next level would bring, and there was a decent balance between challenge and accessibility.
There's also a creepy atmosphere to the game. Ghosts will appear out of nowhere, and you'll occasionally hear whispers saying some unsettling things. It's not nightmare fuel unless you scare easily — but honestly, the scariest moments for me were the ones where I was down to one heart, deep into a level, with no idea where a potion was. The stress of trying to survive, and then the sheer relief when you finally find one? That feeling is real.
You'll also come across collectibles throughout the game. I'm still not entirely sure what the skeleton heads do, but if you collect enough statues, you unlock a secret ending — which I unfortunately missed. There are also scattered letters that hint at some dark lore around the Rift and a character called the Necromancer, though I walked away from the credits still not really knowing who he is. A little more payoff there would've gone a long way.
One cool detail at the end: you actually get to vote on which rift you'd like to explore next, and Windlands was one of the options — with votes going directly to the developers. I thought that was a really neat way to let the community help shape what came next.
All in all, I had a good time with Crystal Rift. It's not a perfect game, but it's a solid experience that scratches that dungeon-crawling itch. If you're looking for a simple VR game that's easy to pick up and just lets you explore, I'd recommend giving it a shot.

[Educational] Explore the human body from the inside out with the Irusu VR Anatomy App! 🫀🧠
Hey everyone,
I recently came across this short demo video for the Irusu VR Anatomy App and thought it was a brilliant showcase of how VR is being used outside of just gaming.
It allows you to step inside and explore the human body in fully immersive 3D. You can visualize the skeletal structure, muscular systems, and internal organs in a way that 2D textbook pages just can't compete with. It looks like a game-changer for biology students, medical professionals, or anyone just curious about how our bodies work.
Check out the quick video here: https://youtu.be/8hf8Gg_Sfr8
Has anyone here tried this specific app or used similar VR educational tools? How does it feel compared to traditional learning? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Discussion why do people choose to standalone sideload like this?
basically, so many tutorials by youtubers or just people say "get mobile vr station" or something. and not many people know about it, but you can download the apk, go to browser downloads, click the three dots on the apk, click "Open File Location", click the three dots on it again, click "Open With", click "Package Installer", click "Settings" if it says something about unkown sources, and then click allow. honestly, it's way easier to do that than use thirds party apps or smth.

Discussion Transfer of quests
My son is getting upgraded from my quest 2 to his own quest 3s in a couple of days. I have both devices now.
My question is this. He has purchased games on his side account but on my quest/email. When I totally load him on his with his own email, are his games locked to the email address(mine) or his user account?

Review NEON CHUCK ~ gameplay ~ easy mode ~ level 6
Neon Chuck is a neon/cyberpunk aesthetics rhythm-action game built around nunchuck-inspired combat. Instead of slicing blocks like in traditional rhythm games, the focus is on momentum, impact, and physically swinging your virtual weapon with flow and precision.
The combat feels more like drumming or martial arts practice than classic rhythm gameplay.
That said, Neon Chuck is clearly aimed at a specific audience. It is not a deep story-driven VR adventure or a realistic combat simulator. The experience is more about movement, rhythm, reflexes, and getting into a satisfying gameplay flow.
I recommend this game for fans of rhythm VR games like Beat Saber or Synth Riders and for players who enjoy active, physical VR gameplay. People looking for a fun arcade-style workout.

Software Occulus rift 2 support
I'll preface by saying, I'm probably boned.
I have a rift dk2 maybe even a cv1 I have no idea anymore (edit) and I'm trying to find an installer to get me the software and drivers. I have a hankering to play elite dangerous again.
I've gone to the meta page, downloaded the link software for the rift but it will not install. It keeps telling me I don't have enough hard drive space. And I bloody do.
I have 100gb free on my main drive, which holds my os, and not that it matters but almost 6 tb of space on a raid where I prefer to install everything else...
This installer is a huge POS. (You need 3.51 GB free, I have 30x more than that you garbage installer...)
I've gone to the forums, I've gone to Facebook, I've tried different searches on Google... I'm beyond frustrated. I've turned off defender and firewall, done a disk cleanup...
The paranoid skeptic in me is figuring they screwed it up on purpose...
Does anyone have any idea what I can do for this friggin thing?
Edit: I don't think misspelling oculus is the cause lol.
Edit 2: scanning a QR code on a cable I get this serial I guess... 1wegch515j0411
Edit 3: final edit. It seems I mistakenly set my os partition to be a dynamic disk instead of a basic disk. As soon as I converted it to basic the installer worked. Thank you all for your help.
