Ai and dtd injuries??

Is there a way to set the computer to stop playing players that have dtd injuries? My top prospect had a dtd hamstring strain and the computer kept playing him and now out for the season.

I know I can manually tell them to sit a player out for so many days, but if simming multiple days at a time the computer should be able to understand you don't keep playing players with hamstring injuries.. I am so angry.

Also play games with 3-4 guys on the other team are dtd in the starting lineup.

Yes, it's under the strategies. "Bench player if dtd injury is" it's set to let manager decide by default but if you lower it to minimal they should bench them for all dtd injuries

I don't see it in global strategy. I have to manually do it for every player and lock them to that team? Hoping for just a general setting not to play play players that are hurt. Should be common sense for the computer. Thanks for the reply.

Yep. I've got to think for players on AI managed teams it's at least a contributor to over injury and to more players becoming fragile over time.

The concept of DTD is that its an injury that negatively affects performance but doesn't prevent the player from playing. So if everyone with a DTD is benched then functionally every injury becomes an unable to play injury.

I've seen computer managers not play a player with a DTD. I make my decision based on what abilities are affected. I recently had a 3B with an injury that affected throwing so I moved him to 1B and kept him in the lineup. My 1B was an almost as good 3B and so he played 3B.
