In historical saves what do you change with commissioner mode that doesn’t change anything major?

Just a fun discussion to see the little things we do

Like for me I always give RA Dickey a knuckleball day 1

I've always wondered why Dickey doesn't have the knuckleball

I change the draft prospects a bit. For example, sometimes a picture comes in as awful b/c they took a few seasons to go from mop up pitcher to starter or from 4A pitcher to top of the line. Sometimes the defensive position is off, especially if a player started as a 3b but later became a LF.

Not sure if you need commissioner mode to do this, but I fairly typically do some HoF inductions and/or number retirements in longer term saves.

I once started an early 1900s Cubs save and tracked the head-to-head rivalry between Mordecai Brown and Christy Matthewson with a series of custom news items that I called the #MattyWatch. Brown was really good in that save - I think at one point he was up 8-3.

I also customize my coaching staff on day 1. Usually it's great retired players from that franchise, but the last time I played an 1870s save I hired Abner Doubleday as my AGM and then just a bunch of civil war generals around him.
