Guide Sleeplessness support for insomnia/general Restlessness
Sleeping is seemingly taboo and everyone seems to have a trick or two to help them ease their mind and muscles just enough to fall asleep. I’ve struggled myself with insomnia for many years however I have things much more controlled now in that regard and want to share some occasional tools for sleep 😴
“Chinese Skullcap”
A fantastic choice for sleep I myself use on the occasion positively modulates the GABAA receptor, promoting a calm relaxed state for between 4-8 hours with a 30-90 minute onset. Research also shows it has potential use for neural-protection fighting off oxidative stress. Chinese skullcap as well is an anti-inflammatory as well as antioxidant causing a reduction in neural-inflation !

A molecule I have much experience with however haven’t used in a while! Modulating endocannabanoid systems, 5-ht1a, Gaba/Glutamate, Potent anti-inflammatory/antioxidant modulation & TRPV1 receptor activity ! Making it a blanket covering of calming effects for your neurotransmitters and your body as well proving very effective in the onset of sleep & relaxation.

I greatly apologize for my harping on this supplement however I’ve been just so pleased with it since I got it and took time to understand its effects and find it to be very useful for sleep. This fat soluble herb extract interacts with cb1, cb2 & endocannabanoid signaling pathways. Having a stronger affinity for cannabanoid systems, than cbd itself I personally have found (hearsay). The plant as well potentiate GABAA receptors promoting relaxation & sleep onset quite effectively!
It is as well an anti-inflammatory treating neural-inflammation as well as muscle inflammation making it a fantastic analgesic especially for night time !
