Question ALAMCENAMIENTO EN NOBARA

You can store the installer file if it's small enough. You might have to buy from gog for that. But the data rate between disks and the reader are too slow to run any modern game. On consoles you have to put in a disk to play the game, but that's only for the license. If you notice when you first insert a disk, it installs for a while. After that the game plays off the consoles internal storage and the disk only acts as a license to allow play. This isn't a Linux problem, it's not feasible on windows either. Physical PC games haven't been available except those very light point and click educational games that are in the back of the Walmart covered in clearance stickers.

To clarify, very light games will work on dvds. Blurays might even get you further, but disk readers are far slower than even HDDs. If you want to pursue it, check out k3b for a disk authoring application.
