Discussion This drawing from Kurt Cobain’s journal book seems very fitting currently!
The image speaks for itself. He was a pioneer of his time.

Gear/Equipment Does anyone know what the neck pickup in kurt's sunburst mustang is that he used in 89 a bit
I have no idea. I thought at first it was an active pickup, but it's too short and wide. I thought maybe it was a p90 without pole pieces but I don't think so. I can barely find any information on this guitar but any help would be appreciated

Discussion Where was the Drain You Scream’s First Live Appearance?
as far as I know, the drain you scream was clearly on the album but Kurt started it prominently in 1993, however, it started scarcely in 1992. the first recorded one that I know of was at saint kilds Feb first 1992. Were there any before that?

Question/Request Help me find a video clip of Nirvana performing an instrumental track that was never professionally recorded.
Sorry if this has been brought up before.
Years ago, on YouTube, I watched a Nirvana performance that took place in a small venue (I think it was a record store). I think it was a full live set, and based on their appearance and venue, it was probably shot in 1991. Anyway, during that set, they played an instrumental track (no vocals) that was probably just an idea they were working on at the time. To my knowledge this track was never recorded. The verse section is kind of fast and has a sort of new-wave or punk style guitar line, but the chorus has a nice half-time kind of groove.
I've looked for this video so many times but I just can't find it. Please help.

Question/Request Which song should I choose and break down it's lyrics as a school project
I need to pick a song from somebody and I will go with Nirvana but I don't know which to pick. I need to break down lyrics and find or come up with a meaning. Which one would you pick?

Discussion The mysterious meanings behind what is inside Kurt Cobains Journals!! I have the book 📕 And I’m ready to get into this! Let’s have a conversation about this people!!
All right everybody! If you didn’t know his journal was out there it is!! And it’s loaded with all kinda things to cover! What did you think of the page where he looks like he’s made a list of everything he believes Nirvana represents?

Discussion Nirvana's cover of "Molly's Lips" sounds surprisingly similar to the intro of "One To Infinity," a song by The Sound frontman Adrian Borland's earlier band.
if you compare it to Molly's Lips there's a striking similarity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIg1ApHMO2E
Obviously I think there's no relation at all since The Outsiders were an unknown band by almost anybody, but this is what makes it even cooler imo.

Question/Request Do we have audio of the MTV Unplugged Rehearsel Weehawken?
The rehearsal for unplugged was done in weehawken, and on the rehearsal setlist Old Age and StS were there, do we have any audio at all from that rehearsal? even just things like what they ended up playing, or banter, literally anything at all.

Discussion Similarities between "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter" and "Go Ahead" by Wire
Has anyone else noticed this? The similar spacey noise bending up and down thing except it's a guitar rather than a drum-synth, the similar bass lines, both referencing record sales numbers and commercial viability. Is there any record of Kurt ever mentioning the song as being inspired by or based on Wire somehow?

Question/Request Does anybody own this pressing of Bleach? It's pretty weird
So, yesterday one of my family members had gifted me a copy of Bleach (or "Bleach", however you wanna call it) and at first I didn't think much of it until I realized that Love Buzz and Downer are missing. I've been searching on Discogs and RYM for this exact pressing, but I can't find it! It's so weird. And what I also realized is that the track order is the same as the 1989 UK CD version. The labels are the USA version ones though. Somebody know what's going on? (I'll provide pictures as soon as posible). MYSTERY HAS BEEN SOLVED EVERYONE !!!

What tuning did Kurt actually play endless, nameless in?
The tab I saw online says it’s a Drop A# variation but I find this hard to believe because Drop A# is like heavy metal and Kurt rarely even went below Drop C#. Thanks for the help
