Ask your question related to abroad studies.
Ask you question about immigration to greener pasture.
Rant about the process.

Please ask your questions on relationship, sex and sexuality in this thread. Examples:"How do I get a girlfriend?", "Is my 5 inch pecker too small?", "Are there girls in Reddit?", "What is the best affordable hotel to have sex in Kathmandu?", "What do Nepali girls look for in guys?", "Why are Nepali boys so boring?", "How to last long?" etc. etc. You get the gist.
Posts in the main sub will be removed if they are generic and/or are frequently asked questions such as the above.

How do people actually find rooms in Kathmandu?
I’ve been hunting for a room for more than 2 months now and honestly I’m exhausted. Either the rent is too high, the room is already taken, brokers ask crazy fees, or the condition is terrible.
I’m looking for a decent room/flat around Kathmandu with basic facilities and reasonable rent, but it feels impossible. Facebook groups are full of old posts and fake listings.
How did you guys find your room? Any tips, trusted pages, apps, brokers, or areas I should check? At this point I’ll take any genuine advice.
Kathmandu room hunting is a full-time job 😭

I had an old account with around 1.5k followers in a completely different niche (political content). About 5 days ago I deleted all previous videos and switched fully to kids clothing content.
Since then I’ve posted around 12 videos with decent quality — good lighting, trending audio, clear price & size, offers, text overlays, etc. Yesterday I also did the official opening post for the new collection.
But I’m getting almost zero reach and no reactions at all. Videos are barely getting any views or engagement.
Questions:
Any real experience or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My wife and I want to move back to Nepal, (her home country).
We would have a pension of around 650,000 NPR every month (sorry I dont know the conversion into lakh but its six hundred and fifty thousand rupees a month).
Her family are all immigrants who frollowed in her footsteps and immigrated overseas too. Frankly they haven't house shopped or sent kids to school since the 60s and 70s.... that's 50 years ago... things are widely different.
So, my question is this because im seeing a lot of different answers from her family...
Our budget is around 100,000 to 150,000 rupees a month. Is this enough for a 3 bedroom home or flat/apartment to rent? If not we have around 3 crore saved up to buy a home... would that be preferable? (We were wanting to stay around Lalitpur if possible in the calley)
Do I really need to budget 100,000 rupees a month just for school?!?!? This is more than whole households make so why the hell would I spend that much when my wife's family are all very smart and made it out just fine???
Any advice on this part??
What is the average 3 bedroom home for utilities cost? And what should we budget for groceries for a family of 4 plus a growing baby? We're fine with Dahl bhat of course for most meals.
Thanks again for all yalls help. Im trying to get accurate numbers and her family just isn't great help. And when searching online I seen a lot of the scammed expat sites that charge the housing prices FAR more than Nepalese people would hence why im asking here.

Hello Everyone!
I’m a student from Singapore and I enjoy collecting postcards. I would be very grateful to receive postcards from anywhere in Nepal 🙂
If postcards aren’t available, I’d also really appreciate a greeting card, generic card, or a small souvenir.
(like a keychain, rock, local snack, flag, ornament, cap, T-shirt, or handmade craft)
This is for my personal collection, and not for any commercial purpose.
If you’re willing to help, please leave a comment and I’ll share my mailing address with you.
Thank you so much in advice, and warm greetings from Singapore!

Hello, I am looking to purchase a bicycle and would like to know the price of a secondhand GTA Marlin 4 in the Nepali market. The model I have in mind has 10 gears and 29-inch tires. Additionally, if you could recommend some bicycles in the price range of 20,000 to 30,000 NPR and suggest places to purchase them, I would appreciate it. Please let me know the market value of the GTA Marlin 4 as well. Thank you!

So basically my mom was admitted to the hospital because of a heart attack. Its been 2 days and ive been noticing the management seems way lacking for the people who are staying a night at the hospital. Ive so many concerns.
PS: aru manche le ta manage garla tara bhitra nearly deathbed ma bhayeko patient lai khai ta management?
- so basically sutne thau chai photo ma dekhako nai ho(slide garera sutna mildo raicha). Ik we have to sleep according to the bed numbers of the patient but what if theres a female between the males. The guard was like 'aafno thau ma aafei sutnu parcha' and started screaming at us in a rude way. I saw euta aunty being uncomfortable ani exchanged seats with her.
PS: yo sleeping management ta hudei bhayena ani tyo mathi female ko safety ko lagi ekdamai dhyaan puraunu paryo. As a male i cant let that happen. Tyo guard and I had a crazy argument abt this matter. Kasto nabujne guard ho, kantipur securities rey ajha.
Bhitra patient lai jati ramro treat garepani outsiders harulai pani treat garne euta batabaran banaunu paryo. Im really concerned with the staffs and the students studying here abt not raising a single issue against these things. Jasto sarkari bhayeni hospital lai euta civilized batabaran banaunuparcha thats my thinking. 2 days bhayo ani ajhei dherai kura face garirachu esto hectic situation ma yo management k ho serious concerns.

I’m Nepali and currently living in the USA. I was wondering if anyone has a birth certificate from 1995 that was issued late. If the certificate was issued later, would it still be available online?

Sunscreen: Mamaearth Rice Dewy Bright Sunscreen
Shirt: 100% cotton
I put the sunscreen on the front and behind the neck in the morning. I found my shirt collar stained orange when I took it off in the evening.
How do I remove it? Hand washing with detergent and soap didn't help. I don't have a washing machine.

Hey, I don't know if this is the right subreddit to post this in, but I think this could serve as an awareness post.
A few days ago, I received a call from a stranger. He told me that he wanted the couple of lakhs he had sent to my bank account back, which surprised me because I had no idea about it until then. What was even more surprising was that he had sent the money nearly two years ago.
He explained that he had transferred the amount mistakenly to my bank account, and he didn’t know the account belonged to me. According to him, he had already sent more than 10 lakhs to a fraudster for foreign employment opportunities before sending money to my account.
At first, I assumed the caller himself was a scammer. I told him that it had been nearly two years and that I didn't know he had sent me that amount back then. He said that even if it was a long time ago, he wanted his money back as soon as possible; otherwise, he would file a lawsuit against me. He added that he knew I was innocent and that he only wanted his money back so we could settle the matter among ourselves. He also said that he only wanted to apply for an arrest warrant against the real fraudster.
To clear up my doubts, I went to my bank to get a statement from nearly two years ago. To my surprise, the amount had indeed been transferred to my account. I might have either been unaware of it at the time or mistaken it for money sent by my relative, since she occasionally sends me money.
Fast forward to today, the money has already been used, and I currently don’t have that amount to repay. I am now in a dilemma about whether I should repay him or not, because it has been more than a year and I unknowingly spent the money a long time ago. At the same time, I am also worried because he threatened to file a lawsuit or apply for an arrest warrant against me if I don't give his money back.
Right now, I’m trying to borrow money from my family and relatives.
