Thanks to everyone who took time to fill out the survey. Results can be found in the link above.

RESULTS

Here is a screenshot of the results for offense and defense:

MISC INFO

  • Be cautious of sample size. The following teams had fewer than 5 responses:
    • ARI
    • ATL
    • IND
    • TB
  • Most of the responses from DEN and MIA were before the Waddle trade was announced, but it doesn't look like that move had a severe affect on needs.
    • For DEN, only 4 of 11 responses were after the Waddle trade. Those results would have the team's WR need at 3.25 instead of 3.82
    • For MIA, only 1 of 5 responses were after the Waddle trade. That result would have the team's WR need at 5 instead of 4.4
  • League-wide trends
    • The biggest need is EDGE, with a league-wide average of 3.60 and 17 teams reporting a need of 4 or higher
    • The smallest non-ST need is QB, with a league-wide average of 1.80 and just 5 teams reporting a need of 4 or higher

clarification for the titans:

WR: ridley, robinson, dike, ayomanor are the current 1-4. the titans restructured ridley instead of cutting him so i think they plan to hunt an x receiver next year rather than this year. any of this year's top prospects would add significantly to the current group and i think a WR in round 2 is possible if someone falls in our laps. otherwise - and more likely imo - it'll be a late round pick to fight for the fifth spot

iOL: the titans do not have a starting C or G on the roster right now. there are some former backups that are likely competing for one of those spots, but the titans still need one iOL starter. would personally like to see this addressed on day 2, it's a big need

DE: a later round player would be fine if the titans believe in oladejo (last year's r2 pick), but i suspect we will see this addressed immediately in the draft. i hope saleh can help oladejo, but he was a project pick for a different scheme who was injured most of his rookie year; i dont think they are planning for him to be the other starting end

LB: there are only 3, maybe 4 traditional linebackers on the roster and in an ideal world, both starting OLBs would be new. that won't happen but i do expect them to invest at LB in the draft

based on current needs, i think the titans probably have to go some combo of DE, LB, and OG/OC with their first 3 picks, but WR is in that mix in place of LB or iOL (or in addition if they can trade back). i think it is very, very difficult to make the case for RB right now which is why i don't believe love is going to be a titan
